The best advice I can give is you have to have perseverance. Accept the fact that you will fail, probably more than you will be successful. Hang in there and believe in yourself and your concept. Learn from each failure and apply those lessons to your business and your life and the successes will be so much more meaningful.

Thats an interesting story. Being able to step outside my comport zone, be coachable and willing to competency reinvent myself career wise. Learning that trusting my ability to connect with people and build professional friendships was key. Networking, networking, networking... Ive been told I have the ability to completely disarm a powerful man with nothing but a genuine conversation. People dont respect fake, arrogant women.

I graduated college in 3 years. I am now a graduate student in a medical school. I own a luxury womenswear business while being a full time student. My plans are to matriculate to medical school and hiring someone as a director over business.

The same way you achieve success in anything in life - hard work, perseverance, ingenuity and integrity. Not much in life is handed to you, so that should never be an expectation. I've worked hard for what I have accomplished, regardless of what it is.

I got lucky in Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood...by owning 3 small spas. Then Ive been finishing my Masters of Science, and start my doctorate at an online PhD Program next year. I prefer to take it easy these days, and work out a lot and I enjoy the water, shopping, and having fun because I achieved my success in business by working 5-7 days for many years and dont like to be so tied down these days!

I personally feel that having the best relationships with others help me along my journey to success. Reputation does matter and what you stand for, or who you stand for, can say a lot about you and your business.

Sometimes the biggest obstacle holding us back is our own fear. Fear can make you lazy. It can paralyze you. It can make you make excuses why something cant be done. There is no substitute for hard work. If it was easy everyone would do it. Dont be afraid to try something, pursue an idea or an opportunity. Failure is just part of the learning process. Having dreams come true has been such a blessing I get overwhelmed with gratitude.

I've actually achieved success in my "life" (not only in my career) by just being me. Treating others with respect and kindness, and appreciating them for who they are with doing the right thing. These qualities have served me well in life.

I work for the government and after years of doubting myself, I finally took up a leadership position. It's corny, but believing in yourself really works. I'm so proud of my accomplishments so far at work.

Investments/Wealth Management. I will say this, the second you put your finances in your own hands, instead of the nice, cushy hands of an employer, is the second you can actually achieve wealth - real wealth and not a paycheck.

Vision and unwavering commitment. And integrity. Treating people with the intention of truly appreciating them. People often give their best when they know you care about their outcome, too. Clarity of vision.

I've worked in the Interior Design trade for 36 years. I learned about familial architecture and design during the 60's-70's, in the towns we grew up in, Palm Springs & La Jolla. I interned (in the desert), were I was subsiquintly hired, by my mentor, Steve Chase. I returned to San Diego, starting my own Design Firm in the late 80's.
