I like medication and breathing techniques.and alot of veggies and fruits...deep thoughts and diving into spirituality. Helping others understand the deeper meaning of life helps me to live healthy.iI have a listing ears and tell it how I see it.
During this COVID ERA I've started enjoying running again and long walks everyday with some light weight training. It hasn't been easy to lift heavy stuff by myself but I want to start lifting again. Got any good apps you use? I also use RP APP for diet and right now I'm at 34% compliance mainly because I don't eat as much as they want me to. Lol
During C-19. Started a walking program just to get outside and do minimum of 10k steps a day on most good non rainy days. Tap dancing keeps me moving and sharp mentally as well. Always eat healthy and only indulge occassionally.
First and foremost, getting and keeping in shape and the things that are necessary to do it have to be a part of your lifestyle.
That ensures that you maintain a good or even great level of fitness, depending on your goals.
There are certain non negotiable facts involved in keeping fit. A calorie surplus over time adds weight. A deficit over time takes it off. This is the bottom line of any diet ever conceived.
3,500 calories are in a pound of fat.
A simple concept to keep in mind is called the training effect. It states that your body has to be stressed to the point that it adapts to the extra stress.
How you impose this stress on your body can be done in a number of ways.
Find the aerobic and resistance training exercises that you like the best and you're more likely to do them on a regular basis
I have a horrible diet and never exercise! Oh yes, and of course I can't forget the most important part... eating disgusting amounts of jalapeo Cheetos is an absolute MUST to keep up with this smokin hot boyish figure!
I choose my food carefully and do some dance exercise. I prefer to drink fruit juice which I usually extract from fresh fruits. I make sure that I get enough sleep and drink water that is enough for my body consumption.
Great genes! I am a foodie. I don't know how I don't change sizes. I just kind of listen to my body. Usually I am more active but covid has me a homebody. But I still fit in my clothes. I don't know what else to write to make it 200 words, I feel like this is school. Oh I am back in school because what else do you do during COVID?
I hike and bike to help keep healthy. Spin class at the gym is one of my favorite activities to engage in for optimum health. I just ordered a Spin bike for my home and looking forward to spinning while gazing off at the Mountain Views from the window. Walking, meditating and spending time with myself assists with my mental, emotionally and spiritually health. Taking care of my Mind, Body and Soul are the keys for me to maintain overall good health. Eating heathy is important as we are what we eat. As one of my favorite Speakers / Authors would say, " Listen to me carefully, but don't watch me too close. I'm still working on this stuff myself." I am not on a special diet, everything in moderation. In healthy relationships, individuals support and inspire each other to do better in all areas .
Salad- veggies / fruit... lean meat ( bake chicken 3 times a week ) h20- protein WALK 45 min. - sleep 9 - hours ( pandemic change that ) outdoors everyday cuz garden work is never done- ha! - focusing on myself isn't easy but focusing on my family is all about the love first !
I always make sure i eat fresh food, drink fresh water Exercise daily for at least an hour.
Keep Track of Calories and Food Intake Per Day.
Be Sure to Get enough Sleep
i starch out every day before workout and i make sure i bath and feel good and relax
I roller skate in the mornings and meet with a trainer a few times a week. I also love hiking but wish I did it more! Not too big of a gym fan, I prefer to be outside to stay active. Must be my love for the sun :)
Decades of working out, from being one of the original 'Jane Fonda Aerobics Queens', to hiking in the parks and mountains of LA. My favorite is swimming laps in the moonlight and now mostly walking and YOGA~
I eat very healthy, experiment with new gourmet ideas when bored, since being a health nut can be a bit challenging! But I can also cook naughty yummy surprises!
I do yoga three to five times a week and I eat healthy. I am a paramedic and constantly moving and lifting patients. When at the yoga studio, I focus on hot yoga. I normally stick to a keto diet otherwise known as carnivore diet and I eat steak everyday.
For the most part, I don't diet; I try to make healthy eating a part of my lifestyle. Though if you pull out a bag of marshmallows, I'll be the first to eat one. :) I enjoy working out, and it's been a part of my lifestyle for years, from walking to racing. I've done it-- It's about commitment.
