Well I might sound strange but I want to open a clinic for animals so if and when they get hurt they owner's can get treatment without another stress of a bill or being asked for a credit car.
Then get my tattoos fixed, like to get a camero and maybe a small boat I can live on or cute 2 bedroom house.
That's it don't need all kinds of stuff, I'm good with this.
I would give some of money to my work companions, to help them pay for their debts.. Maybe for myself I would left only 10k even from 500k -pple in needed first xD

One million doesn't go very far now adays. Effectively, you get 500k after taxes,
I would split up as follows:
1) 100 k to family: I would forgive $50 k in debt as a gift to certain family members, spend $50k on a college fund for other family members.
2) 50 k invested in Retirement accounts - most likely index ETFS (stock market returns without the hassel - and the ability to sell at any time rather than at close of business prices).
3) 50 k on myself: 20 k vacation, 10 k in a "I want it fund' (boy's toys), 10 k on interesting classes, 10 k in new clothing
4) Use the remaining 300 k to upgrade my current real estate situation. I.E. sell my current condo and buy a town house
I would pay off my debts immediately, establish a line of credit.Invest a portion of the money in gold and go to school full time.
