Don't believe everything you hear about the city (but don't go anywhere alone and you may not want to tick off a UAW guy..lol), people are great here, you'll have a blast and hopefully I'll get to meet some of you. And so what if you don't have tickets to the game? There will be so much going on, it won't matter (unless of course your home team is in the game!).
lol...gives a whole new meaning to Red Brigade! There's a couple other redheads we could enlist! Could those men h_andle all those redheads in one room?! OMG! you can't even say 'h.andle'!!!! The words they choose to censor never cease to amaze me!
P.S. Bedford: If the redheaded cheerleaders show up, I'll pick you up. Plenty of room in the CTS...

Just watch out when they try to HUDDLE with you. lol. Don't let them talk you into playing CENTER.

Thanks for that Red. I actually played "American" Football ("football" to me is Soccer) for a year in the UK. I was a Defensive End, and as it was explained to me, all I had to know was that my job was to leave the guy in front of me in the dirt, then kill the guy with the ball... wasn't too difficult to work out.
I'll be with you in spirit... lets see, we're 6 hours ahead of Detroit here so I guess I'll be watching at Linekers in Puerto Banus... no hard-hat required... and I'm sure I'll find one or two of your compatriots there to explain the plays/rules to me
Hello, Bedford...We'll do our duty and have one for you!
All you really need to know about American football is this: 1. The guys WITH the ball are trying to get it across a white line near the goal posts. They get 4 tries to accomplish that. 2. The guys that don't have the ball WANT it or try to stop the other from getting across the white line. 3. The team changes players depending on whether or not they've got the ball (e.g. if they don't have the ball, they bring in the bulls to try to get it, if it's their turn with the ball, they bring in the guys who can catch or run with it). All the other rules would drive you made!

P.S. I own two (or three) hard hats so you won't have to carry yours....
P.S.S. So we're down to Seattle/NC and Denver/Pittsburgh....who's it going to be in the big game?

Is this the beginnings of a plan for a gala Super Bowl party that you are considering hosting? Post the time and the place. You never know who may show up. I have my Detroit head gear ready to go. lol.
