A great first date doesn't have to be perfect—it just needs good conversation, lots of laughter, and genuine curiosity about each other. A walk by the water, a cozy café, or a nice dinner where time simply flies by sounds just right to me.

I’m open to suggestions! Coffee by day or a mocktail by the water—as long as there’s vibrant conversation, a bit of romance, and that exciting feeling when we truly connect.

A nice dinner and then a walk through the park at Sunset. Definitely being able to get to know each other.

Coffee and a leisure walk. So we can figure out if we are at all compatible. Check the chemistry, test the waters so to speak

Dinner in a quiet restaurant. Arts and culture activities also a nice way of getting to know each other.

It depends on how well we know each other before date. If we've talked extensively, a nice dinner or wine bar. If we haven't, then a cafe for coffee. If we're in an area with beautiful parks or trails, then a walk or hike.

I love a great restaurant, but I’m equally happy cooking dinner at home with good wine, music, and the right company. DC has plenty of hidden gems - wineries, rooftops, great food, and easy weekend adventures. The wineries aren’t exactly Napa, but they’re a lot more fun with a beautiful woman beside you.

Beach walk after brunch to understand each other more . Or have a great dinner in a quiet restaurant with a great view

Let’s go bowling, play golf, play pool, play darts, or something where we can get loose and interactive. Be able to have a healthy banter about things. It doesn’t have to be one of these games, it can be any other game. The key is to be as comfortable as possible and really enjoy being around each other. Then the next date can be more formal if needed.

For our first date I like to meet up for coffee. Maybe a glass of wine. Somewhere a little bit quiet. You can get an idea if the chemistry is right.

I'd love to meet somewhere we can have a good conversation to get to know each other and see if theirs a genuine connection. A nice dinner, a café, a walk in the park or picnic would be nice.
My intention is to meet my life partner and enjoy a peaceful, happy life together.

I think dinner is an ideal date. Somewhere not too loud, no live music. I don’t do bars, I’m not opposed to getting a drink at a restaurant but I’m not going to meet someone in a bar. Conversation is key. Being able to flow with conversation and connection. I think it’s hard to really get to know someone if you meet for an activity to a sporting event. Save that for later dates. I would also be open to a coffee date.

Some quiet so we could talk it and I want another. Dinner is always great but as long as it’s not a quiet restaurant, we’re not screaming every background noise.

For me, the perfect first date isn't about how expensive or extravagant it is, it's about the thought behind it.
I love it when a man puts a little creativity into planning something simple but meaningful. A cozy café, a walk by the water, a quiet wine bar, a scenic picnic, or anywhere we can relax and really talk without too many distractions sounds perfect to me.
The first date is about getting to know each other, sharing stories, laughing, and seeing if there's a genuine connection. If we leave feeling like we could have talked for another few hours, I'd call that a very successful first date.

Dinner in a great restaurant with an awesome bottle of red. The place should have an ambiance conducive to conversation to get to know each other.

Dinner is the best way to connect and share common interests and lifestyle vision. Alternatively, a weekend with light activities with the goal of spending a longer time together. It’s not an interview but it’s life together we are talking about.

I don’t like dictating. I would like to see what gentlemen will offer first and his idea of first date. I will communicate very clearly if I will not like his idea. 😉

The best first dates aren’t measured by what they cost—they’re measured by the thought behind them. I appreciate a man who enjoys planning an experience instead of asking me to design it. Surprise me. I’m looking forward to seeing what you think is worth remembering.
