At 19 years old I gave up a Div I NCAA football scholarship to start my first company with 2 other co-founders. Developing a technical solution to assist Mitsubishi access the US specialty science market, we grew the company to become the 7th fastest growing privately held US company. 33 years later, I've just sold my 4th technology company. (btw) After selling the first, I went back and finished two undergrad degrees (Chemistry and Finance) and an MBA.

By working hard, embracing the word no, and never giving up. Many things happen organically in my life. I am a visionary. I see the big picture and then reverse engineer how to achieve it. I really do believe that anything is possible in life and it really is our mindset that gets us there or holds us back.

A great support system of friends and family. I still have a long way to go, but having someone who can pick you up when you're down is helpful for perseverance. Focus and time management have become my best friends. It is nearly impossible to be successful without the use of a planner.
