CONGRATULATION !! Im happy for you ...I could feel something sweet and good is going on ..

Im sorry about your headache ..well there are many reasons about it but 1 thing Im sure , medically there is an increase Intracranial pressure ...it could be anxiety ...it could be muscle tension ( shoulder muscle ) , it could be your job ( computer syndrome ) , it could be alcohol , it could be fatigue , and mostly it could be High blood Pressure ( have it check ) ...

Hope you get better soon ..Take your time ..nobody here wants you to get sick ..

You never know MISS MARY...

He has text or called every day. Had a nice conversation last night. (Friday)

he's quite a ways away.. But it was a nice dinner and wine!

He said,
"My favorite part was when you told the waiter we had been married for 25 years... And then the other waiter came over and you said, FIRST DATE!"

(Ruth Chris has several people come to your table)

I told him,

"Honey, I'm just trying to keep everyone on their toes!"

HA! he said, "You really are a comedian!"

I told him that's cuz nobody likes me and I have to amuse myself all the time!

I'll keep you posted! ;-)

Mmm !, ... Did your steak sizzle at the table ?.  That is their claim to fame.

Yes, Oregon is noted for some fine Pinot Noir and I recall Ponzi as being a good example.  It is a delicate grape that thrives best in cooler climates, hence the higher level of resveratrol in them.

The soggy onion rings are a thing of the past.  I never understood adding mushroom soup and then topping the dish with a can of those ' store bought ' onion rings.  It was her doing and The in-laws bitching, is a previous life experience that I do not miss one bit.

Perhaps a good blog title would be " The ex-inlaws ".... reminds me of that Alan Arkin, Peter Falk movie.

Besides the ' sizzling ' Ruth Chris, was the date equally hot ?.

** Ken **

Heehee~~ KEN...

My date was FUN... And he was cute.. and "sweet."

I am rarely attracted to a man, so the fact I thought he was pretty sexy was a big plus!

Wasn't even my idea to go to Ruth's, but I always enjoy that place!

So, Inspector..

Could red wine be the culpriit of my headaches? I realize red wine can do so, but I haven't drank in over 24 hours and THEN get headaches??? Headaches that last for days sometimes? And do not start until 24 hours AFTER drinking red wine.

Any thoughts?

Oh and as for the date.. Well, ball is in his court. He lives over an hour away, and I don't chase men...

He has text me yesterday and today, so that is sweet.

TIME WILL TELL...

PONZI VINEYARDS / TAVOLA PINOT NOIR

Have you tried it? I understand Oregon is the place in the states for the NOIR grapes. ;-)

Soggy onion rings in green beans?

Hmmm... Too much mushroom soup!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING, KEN!!!!

The City has been calm for the most part, and I have been out of luck for getting hit with ' fast food ', again.

In fact, all of The American Franchise food and beverage places are unusually quiet, understandably so.

Aah !... Thanksgiving Wine.  The general consensus for Turkey pairing, is Pinot Noir a.k.a. Burgandy.

Personally, I prefer a good ' Brut ' due to the various accompaniments normally found to enhance the table.  It also aids digestion,... ' burp, burp ', ... if one has too much stuffing.

Not everyone enjoys the dryness of Brut, so if the in-laws are coming, a demi-sec Sparkling Rosé would be good to have on hand, which ought to keep the peace.

At least until they get in the car on their way home, and start  bitching about the soggy onion ring garnish on the green beans.

For the white wine lovers, do not forget the Sauvignon Blanc or your favorite Chardonnay.  They normally contain less sulfites than red wines.

While on this subject, may all of you have ;

                                                           " A PEACEFUL THANKSGIVING "

Cheers,

Ken.

Thanks  MaryClaire .  That was pretty much what I hoped to accomplish.  A setting forth of some common sense guidelines.   Educate.

I guess my blog touched a few nerves.  Thanks roc, Diana, and Hope for your input.   Thanks also S.L., I think so too.

Relax my friend, reporting abuse is not our style.  We aught to be above those childish squaking.

She will soon ' burn out ' ,.... trust me.

Well said but I'm afraid that it's falling on deaf ears.  The person in question, FL Petite, seems to be brain dead and so wrapped up in her own celebrity as to be completely oblivious to the blog world around her.  It's doubtful she'll even notice this blog.

I called her out on her Relationship Coach blog and doubt she even noticed as she posted yet another blog about someone impersonating an Army General... a bit of a heresy as she's impersonating a human being.

She doesn't get many comments on her blogs so I doubt she'll notice if we boycott them.  We could all post negative comments or even nasty comments but that might encourage her to continue.

The only other recourse to chase her back to the hole she emerged from is to report abuse every time she authors a new blog.
