This is very interesting,

                                      Makes sense too, when brain deprived of oxygen.

HBOT in Stroke and Wound Repair:
“Hyperbaric Oxygen Induces Late Neuroplasticity in Post Stroke Patients – Randomised Prospective Trial”
—University of Muster, Germany. January 2013
Conclusion: The clinical results indicate that HBOT can lead to significant neurological improvements in post stroke patients, even at chronic late stage. The observed clinical improvements indicate that neuroplasticity can still be activated long after damage onset.

Quoting NiceEyes:

So true, unfortunately you're so right Maryclaire2000  It is pretty much catered to the well to do person to afford and benefit from such a treatment.  The alternatives are walking and inversion therapy and Tai Chi exercises that can help in those directions, but sometimes people are so wary after such traumatic experiences, they cannot even muster up that energy for which to even take those vital walks or exercise and financially strapped they cannot access what could be life giving aid. Vicious circle ensues.

@NICEEYES ,

I assume not much People know about the importance of

Oxygen in general..as much as I know People Associate it with

Hospital confinement and Emergency treatment but for those

People who really are sick like COPD ( Coronary a. Polmunary

Disease ) , Heart Disease , Apnea ..yes they do because they really need it ..regarding Apnea without Oxygen they will die

during sleep ..

I've seen some good results from HBOT, it is a shame its so expensive as im sure it could help improve many things, as the man in the video said,mhe got a piggyback effect from being there.

Yeah Hyperbaric Oxygen is a good treatment for Organs etc.

Which is deprived of Oxygen ..only it is quite expensive ..

For old People I would rather advice movements like taking a walk and simple Body Exercises to improve the Supply of Oxygen in the Brain..
