~~ Hi paddy ~~

I believe that, You & I have been through The Mill, being on and off here over the years.

The thing I recall most about ' paddy ' is that , You are a straight shooter.

In other words : " a say it like it is ", honest man.

....And if you were a chick, well, neeeever mind, that ain't gonna happen ....Ha, ha, !

We could of course, get together for a pint of the dark stuff, someday, somewhere ?.

That would be nice.

Cheers...and Thanks for the support.

Your Friend,

My heart-felt gratitude for your presence, and all the enjoyable camaraderie we had, on the old blog topics.

This morning, I received a letter of Thanks for being ' A Volunteer Oncologist '. ?

So I had to explain that, although I volunteer aid to Cancer Victims daily, I am an Oenologist, and not the other.

I've never before realized, how confusing those two titles or words could be.

And ... I thought You being a Nurse would find that quite interesting.

Take Care,

For Thanksgiving my mom and I would go to my grandparents house. When they lived out of state we would go to my aunt's house where the whole family would get together.

My mother's lives in Colorado, while my father's family lives in Kentucky. We'd visit Kentucky in 2012, '14, ect. Then we'd visit Colorado 2013, '15, etc.
Every year there would be a different theme. My favorite was "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving".

Thanksgiving is a chance for families to gather together, to feast and to enjoy being with one another. But the day can also be a meaningful time to reflect on our blessings and remember how God has been faithful in our lives.

I have been away from Florida for 2 months and i couldnt spend it with my friends but was happy to have a call with them.

I cook and make sure we have enough to share with friends who we invite who don't have family. We also have volunteered to provide the meal for a shelter, or just make plates for people working on Thanksgiving and deliver to them at work. We always make an effort to make sure thanksgiving is not only about gratitude but also giving.

~~ To One & All ~~

Personally, this Holiday each year is the most significant Day for me to Give Thanks, to each and every deserving person.

It is The only Holiday that, cuts across all barriers of race, religion, color, creed or territory.

Traditionally, I make a list of who they all are, and get appropriate gifts, along with a handwritten ' Thank You Card '.

Starting with such people as The Postman, Trash Collector, Tree trimmers, Neighbours, Family & Friends, etc.

With this Topic on hand, " I wish To Thank MM for having provided a wonderful platform where, I've met some amazing friends over the years ".

... And especially to MM Counselor & The MM Support Team, for all of Your Dedication to maintain " A World Class Site ".

Sincerely,

~~ S. L. ~~

Usually spend it with my ex as we have agreed to still be friends and we still care for each other. Depending on what day a particular holiday lands on we sometimes celebrate on that day or sometimes a week later as one or both of us could be workin

A long workout in the morning. Skip the traditional food setup and instead go with pizza. Easy, great nap, stress free day = something to be thankful for
