I would love to hear people's stories on fake people on here. Omg I just can't Believe how many people on such a site like this are scammers. Make people give there drivers lisense to join then the scammers can't get on here. My account got hacked 3 times in 2 months. I was just curious on people stories. I had guys that wanted iTunes cards, guys that wanted me to open up a checking account so they could somehow put money in and then I would take it out and send it to them, another guy from the army wanted me to write the general to get him out of the service. And then two guys said there daughter was in the hospital and neede money. Omg!!!!

I met this scammer online and I thought it was weird how easy it was. He posed as a white American in his 60s (thought was to old for me) anyways he was like I think your perfect for my arrangement. we talked back and forth well text. Then he out of the blue needed my help he asked me to buy a iTunes card. I was like your the Sugar Daddy I'm supposed to be asking you for money. lol then I was like your just a Nigerian Scammer he told me I don't have to be rude. Never talked to him again.

10 days ago I started to talk to this guy from here who had a car dealership I googled him his photo was on there and it looked all legit.  But I felt that it was odd that on this advertisement it didn't have an address it just said the phone numbers to call for more information so I thought that was a little weird.soon as we started talking the next day he was off this site profile not available and he said that his profile got hacked. We talked on the phone everyday and texted.when I told him about my scammers stories I haven't heard from him since. Last night on MM he was here with a whole new profile and new photos some of them he sent me.

Red flags are if they can't meet you right away at least within two weeks, if they can't give u a selfie, if there not on social media, and go with your instincts!!!

Beware of posers saying they are in the military using the chat site hangout wanting you send send cell phones or laptops also. Have had no luck on this site for two months found several married people also. I think all pictures shoudl be verified and that you shouldnt be able to view the site at all if you dont pay.

had once contacted me pretending to be in the US Army. Showing me his army ID which probably stolen from someone. I told him off, my ex husband used to be in the British army, so get lost scammers...

several recent scammers I came across are pretending to be soldiers.  Still in Kabul or other middle Eastern places, but will be home in three months.  They always have just one picture and very brief profile.  The good ones will communicate for about three weeks before asking for money to be wired to Ghana for a new iphone or lap top.  Most have been widowed, no children or child died young.

Quoting decdeb:

yes I have been hit up on a few as well.. but there is a'pattern to the scammers.
usually they are European.
1 gorgeous photo
widowed with one child.
from LA.
they use "dear" and sweet talk you to the moon to get you hooked.
just a few guides to keep it real

Just flip the sexes and you have the female version.  Not always widowed.  Sometimes single with sick mom.  Same pattern though.  In two short weeks you are in full blown honey, sweetheart and love as forms of greeting and closing your notes and texts.

Yes the scammers are a real problem on here. If they ask for I tune cards, for you to create a profle acct and fpr you to pay for it or any money sorry to say but the DEFINATELY are a scammer most likely from a back room in Ghanna somewhere...its sad, sick, mean and ugly they would use and treat us this way....

When my profile page got hacked on here 3 times and I had to prove who I was to MM so I had to send them a photo ID I emailed them my drivers liscense to prove who i was. So in order to join this site u should have to show a photo ID since online dating scams are a billon dollar industry!!!!! Serious stuff !!
