I was talking to a very nice man that had a nice (unverified) profile photo and very nice write up.  We decided to meet for dinner a half hour from my home but 2 hours from his home.

The hostess seated me at the table reserved for my date only to find a man that looked 20 years older AND he brought a huge service dog.  Since he drove 2 hours to meet me I decided to stay.  He said he posted an older photo to attract "his kind of woman" and he was sure once we met I would fall instantly in love.  It was hard talking to him because my eyes were focused on the food stuck in his beard and his rowdy service dog kept jumping on the table eating our food.

I am sure we all have had  some funny or weird dates so let's hear them.  We can all use a good laugh.  And NO......I never talked to that date again!!!

I am a gentleman; thus, I don't mock the women who agree to take a chance and go out with me, particularly in a public forum.

If I find anyone mocking me in here, they will find my surfeit of service skunks in their car one morning.

I once went out on a date with a friend. We had known each other for a year or two and I liked his personality a lot. So when he asked to go on a date with me I quickly agreed.

We went to a restaurant where I had a chicken pasta dinner and he had something other than chicken. Later in the evening my stomach began to turn and during one of the best kisses of my life,  I threw up all over him and everything around us as we were trying to kiss. Turned out the chicken was bad and I had gotten food poisoning from it and it was taking a toll on me quickly. We laughed so hard about it but never ate chicken again. I could have easily ended up with this man and we have discussed that we were each other's "one that got away". But he is a professional poker player and that sort of risk in finances was too much for me to accept. He later found a wonderful woman that he has been with about seven years now. Every few years we still joke about how a date should never feed me chicken.

Where to start? All these are first dates:

Engineer reports height at 5'8"... i show up and he is about 5'4" with heeled boots. I truthfully reported a 5'6 and 3/4" height or 1.68cm. Towards the end of date, he explains he needs to take a call from his ex girlfriend's mom... who he hooked up with. He also wanted to know my ring size and was honest to say he had a soft spot for his ex girlfriend's son who was a creative mind like him.

Lawyer sends a picture where is a good 200 pounds, i show up and he is about 160 slim, slick but once again... i had to remove my platforms to be on an eye level. When he showed me his nephews pictures i realized his nephew was tiny... compared to mine.

Pharmacis who looks like he is in his early 50s turns to be 6 years younger than me. We started talking. He got a security type car with amber sirens for 50,000 cash. The day he got it , he told me he was sure he would now be able to  find tons of girls. He had asked a few before talking to me. I was impressed because he likes to be helpful and kind to others, he also smelled great on our first breakfast... turned out it was my new perfume what i was enjoying.  And after a couple of lunches and dinners i saw how nice he was... to everyone else but me. Once again, i got the "boy are you tall" look... This is Texas... I am Mexican and guys are so short.

The first two are from California.
