Today for the first time I noticed that MM site has a forum dedicated to people who would like to brag about luxury brands, the most expensive watches they own, their cars etc.

Well, in reality, we all know what the truth is :) Majority of wealthy people don't like to brag about their wealth, only those who have recently acquired wealth feel necessary to scream out loud for attention.

Unfortunately, some people, never realize that the financial success will never help them find someone who will love them for who they are. Money never buys happiness, it's a necessity and it's never enough no matter how much you may have.

So let me start by saying that 5 least expensive items I love the most are;

1. McDonald's Coffee.
2. Bagel with cream cheese.
3. My books and my bed :)
4. I still miss my first car. It was an old Honda Accord where headlights would pop/roll up at night. classic!
5. My father's comb.

Care to share your list?

wow you really are a smart lady my dear & totally correct. I will share my experience which reveals what type of men are on this site. I met & dated a few gents through this site , which was an experience , and a wake-up call. these men believe they can buy love , and also buy women buy displaying what their worth. So .... flaunting they have multiple young girls after them & around them constantly ! why on earth are they on this site claiming to be looking ...."for the last love , or ... the one"? when they claim , they're happy with their life & can't get rid of the girls in their life. total immaturity , and BS. my opinion is, better date a young man in his late 40's at least they know how to love a woman & are more mature than a 60 + man.
these old men will remain single & alone .

@Chloeberta1 - did you just call me a lady? lol or your comment was towards someone else.

Funtimes only refers to possibly liberal women, ha!

Maybe I should type a common blog but only reply to conservative, Christian males? Hmm.

@Jenkneee - Neither is the reason, sometimes it's simply a choice or an oversight. I have responded to your posts many times in the past.

I hope life is treating you well.

true wealth comes from items that can't be bought.

1. love
2. family
3. God
4. health
5. respect.

Very true that the 5 items you have listed can not be purchased for sure, but some can be faked.

But the questions was when it comes to possessions, what do you cherish the most?

yes you are right about wealth i have had nothing all my life but having wealth gives you things and the good  life  that i would love to have but wealthy guys have a choice what they can buy what they want in life i cant , even as far as going for a younger woman rather than some one there own age if they are mature and women fall at there feet because they see a good life in a full wallet , but is there life full of what i have no it is not because im alone in life they are not and i really do not think i will find any one to share life with but rich guys will.  thats life,

There are no set standards for wealth. if someone has a good health, shelter on their heads, quality food three times a day, they can live for a very long time, while surrounded by people who love them the most. Like in the old days.

The problem starts when people get into things such as fancy cars, houses, brand name clothing etc. etc. they end up ruining their health, unnecessary stress, destroys marriages while couples compete with others and list goes on. My mother in her late 70's, a writer still writing books (just published a new one), living a very good life and a happy/healthy camper. It's priceless.

Most financially successful people on this planet were poor at some point and or came from families who were poor at some point (Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Warren B.) etc.

Money only buys you temporary love. Its not for a life time because when the money runs out, so is the love runs.

As far as man chasing down younger women, well I can't speak for all but I think one of the reasons is that they have less baggage. Women for some reason can't let go the past. I guess its a genetic thing.

You should watch the movie, "Something's Gotta Give"

1. my grandmother's necklace. I never take it off. my grandfather brought it back with him from Vietnam & it was passed down to me when they passed away after nearly 50 yrs of marriage.
2. Starbucks coffee
3. a good book
4. the feel of sand between my toes while listening to the ocean crash upon the shore
5. time with my family/friends
6. a good glass of whiskey/bourbon

@Seetheworld05

I know ladies love family Jewelry. In my family there are these antique silver jewelry dating back early 18th century gets passed on to only the new brides as a welcoming gift into the family. They love it.

Looks like you cherish culture, memories and nature by far the most.

Great list.

@Lovelyladyforyou - Are you for me? :) Just kidding..

Great simple list..

Try the following drink while you walk on the beach this hot summer:

1. A glass half full of crushed ice.
2. 7-Up to fill it to the top.
3. Sprinkle some crushed black pepper.
4. Add some lime juice.
5. May be a mint.

Shake it, not stirred...you will love it. yeah I know its a 0007 drink, not a 007 drink :)))

@Laura:

Very interesting list. Based on the answers you have provided I may come to few conlusions that you don't like planning, you are spontaneous, care free personality, don't trust men easily so prefer lunch dates :)

By the way if your nick is your real first and last name, I would suggest change it to something else to maintain your privacy.

Thanks
