How long would YOU wait for a late “first date”?

Members Only
After matching on the site and chatting on the phone the next logical move is to meet in person. Let’s just say for lunch.

How long would you wait for a late first date? 10-minutes, 20-minutes, 30-minutes?!?!

Personally, I find lateness extremely rude...especially on a first date. I just waited 20 minutes alone at a resturant table for a “first date”. Finally I called, cancled and left. He txt me back that I needed to relax. I think he needs to learn to respect other peoples time.

What do YOU think? How long would YOU wait for a late “first date”?

I arrived at an establishment to enjoy a nice meal, I will stay until I have done just that. I don't care how late he is, honestly. If he does finally show, well, he is more than welcome to enjoy whatever time remaining before I've finished my meal. He was most likely blocked after about fifteen minutes of tardiness anyway. May as well allow him to enjoy what he can of the last time he sees or hears from me lol.
Also, being stood up, or spending time waiting, should never cause you embarrassment. He is the one that looks like a fool, not you. I hope you enjoyed your lunch. Good luck from here on out!!!!!

He should've been there to meet you. If a man really wants to be with you he will make you his 1st priority. No excuses.

You did the correct thing, just his response shows his lack of respect n shows sign of narcissism

Good point. 20 minutes should be a tolerable waiting time for most people.

I won't tell you how many hours I waited for a guy on this site.  Five times he had an emergency when it came to meeting for the first time. Watch for an Austrailian guy.  He's either a total fraud or had his priorities mixed up
