Just say that for whatever reasons, you are behind on rent to the point of getting evicted, electric is cut off, etc.

Walking down the street, you find a duffel bag containing twenty thousand dollars. What would you do with it?

Do different scenarios make a difference to the outcome? If you had children would you choose to keep the money instead of turning it in, etc.

I know, I would feel the same way ... I wouldn't be able to like myself if I kept money belonging to someone else.

Not that one would just happen to find twenty thousand lying out on the sidewalk!! lol.

Believe it or not, this was an essay question when I was studying philosophy.

NO difference.....You would have to return it...it does not belong to you......
Life will "reward" you in a BIG way.....it always does when you do the right thing......There is no doubt about it!

I would turn it in and hope noboby claims it after 30 days because then it's mine (unless, of course, it's discovered to be connected to a crime).
