Chronological years,  not really a factor, whats more important is the health of the individuals because you have to be able to fit into a lifestyle of compatibility and that covers a multitude for which the relationship to have a chance of success even when ages are close let alone spread further apart.

It does not matter when it does not matter.  Sometimes it does matter.

@33Faith ,

To some it does matter and to some age doesn't matter .It depends on how people think about it ..their opinion and how

they believe in both ..

AGE IS A NUMBER BUT NOT AN EXCUSE ....An ad quote ..

lots of physical changes and mental changes in elderly, please watch for red flag like any sign of depression and behavioral issues, they have hormonal imbalance also that causes mood swings, then what about the sex life ? even with Viagra or Cialis, it may not work, things to consider why their wife divorced them? money is useless if you're not compatible, hope you'll find the right old man for you, goodluck .

 age within reason usually doesn't matter, but its the maturity level if they are paired to yours that should matter, some men are children till they are older.  I know dated  many guys  only to find they were to immature. and didn't want to do anything in their life but be lazy.  Just have to fin someone that matches with you - likes/ personality0 find out what fits you, Remember  never change for others, only yourself. - hope this helps( used to consoling for a cousin)
