Long Distance Dating Advice
Questions & counselor's answers
I met this man on the site a few months ago. We talked on the phone everyday, I went to visit him 2 times (at his expense). After my last visit to the West Coast, I received an email from him saying, “I don’t think this long distance thing is going to work”. I am so hurt and confused and I don’t know what to do. I hope you have some advice for me. I thought we really clicked and I had such a wonderful time with him.
I want some advice on how guys will talk to me if i do not make as much as they do? They seem to brush me off.
Is it possible to find love in just a few days? I have been talking with this woman on here, she says she really feels a connection between us and I feel the same way. We got on cam last night and she appeared to be everything she says she is. I think I have fallen in love with her. Is this possible?
I have been on the site for a few weeks now. I am seriously looking to find a lasting LTR, which will eventually lead to marriage. My question is, why do so many professional, well educated women, post these wonderful profiles of themselves and then trash it up with sleezy photos? Do they think all men are looking for a wife that would show off her body for the whole world to see?
I've seen 2 profiles now where the ages don't match what was written. For example, one guy's profile said he's 35, yet in the about me section he says he's 28. Another profile said the guy was 40 or 41 (I forget), but in the about me section he says he's 31. Why is there that discrepancy? Does this mean I can't trust the age the men put down?
I have been contacted by a great guy but on seeing his photos, whilst he looks nice I don't think I could ever fancy him. How would you suggest i let this guy down gently?
A man on the site emailed me and asked if I had a cam, does this mean that he is probably some pervert that wants sex cam?
I have been emailing with this woman from Nashville, TN. I notice that some of her emails are very poor English while others are not. How can I be sure this is not a scammer? It seems like I am communicating with 2 different people.
Is it against MM policy if members would lie about their age? I met someone who posted a different figure on his profile and found out that it was not his real age.
