Who could forget? My high school sweetheart, Ron. One day at school, I was only a freshman, this amazing blonde hair guy came zooming into the parking lot with his MGB convertible. Blonde hair blowing in the breeze. My heart skip a beat as I turned to my brother and asked who he was. Steve smiled.. that's Ron. A week later he asked me out on my first date, the Stock Car races. LOL We sat a foot apart from each other on the bleachers, I was so smitten. When he took me home, my mom sat at the window watching, making sure I came right in. :) Young Love, we look back now and remember how wonderful, innocence was. Great memories!
Hmmmmm ... An artist whose painting I adored . I was 17 and he was 23 ( it was Europe :) ) I met him writing for the local paper . i had to cover the culture section and his gallery showing was on the list. He was just so interesting and beautiful in all the ways possible . I had a huge crush
One day he brought me to his favorite cafe ,took me to the veranda and had the bartender play "Lady in Red" . He asked me to dance . My first kiss was spectacular :)
Yes, I remember... His name was Paul. I was 18 years old and just graduated High School. My mother and I took Amtrak to Santa Barbara, Ca. for the "Fiesta Days" to celebrate. Paul was the son of my mother's friend who joined us later that night. It was around midnight when he asked if I wanted to take a drive to the beach.
We sat on the beach, laughing and talking, he reached over and kissed me. yeeeowza...
