Are you really a nice guy? maybe we should be more specific Dating Tips and Advices Forward to friends

Im pretty new on this cite, but have been on others and notice that so many guys message me claiming to be a nice guy, but then they say things like "most women on here are gross", and they just complain or just say mean things, or are judgmental, a few call their ex a B*tch, but yet they claim to be a nice guy... I dont think they are liers but I think everyone just has different definitions of a nice guy... I think a nice guy is respectful and even if she is a b*tch, then a real nice guy still would not call her one,
I think you guys should be more specific. Are you a nice guy sometimes or only toward some people? or are you just a nice guy period?
I feel like some of these questions like, are you a nice guy, honest, or judgemental should be multiple choice questions the answers being: sometimes, always, only toward some people, or when it benefits me

    My Dearest JENKNEEE-

I am the one who started the "nice guy" syndrome.

RADICAL RACER is only partially correct however...

"Nice Guy" is a polite way of stating not being "into a man"--- and can cover various reasons,,,

BORING only being one of the many!

For me, it is usually "not sexually attracted"--- as I will put up with a tiny bit of boredom for a spell to get to know a man IF I am attracted. IF I am NOT attracted, WHAT'S THE POINT? LOL...

JLIM--- HILARIOUS! I too, think they should make multple choices...

"only to some people" and "only when it benefits me" might take the lead in that case! ;)

Radical racer thinks when a woman calls you a nice guy that it means that guy is boring.  I do understand that SOME people would think that as a negative term but not everyone uses "Nice guy" in that way.

Geez, I am starting to get a little paranoid that EVERYTHING I post online has been and will be misconstrued.  I have typed "You seem like a nice, normal guy" and meant it as an compliment.

OP, you're right to question someone's niceness.  I really dislike when someone in the frame of a joke is mean. They then say something like, "It's a joke, get over it". Their true colors show through that they lack respect and they are...racist or sexist or crude, etc.

When a woman calls you a nice guy it means that you are boring.  When a guy calls himself a nice guy it means that he is socially awkward.  What you are looking for is a gentleman , not a "nice guy".
