Lately I have been getting a lot of attention from white males. Even when I go out in public or where ever.
I just want to know if its just because Im black that they are trying to date me?
Someone give me perspective please.
I think if you were a hooker, men would possibly think of you that way I think. Otherwise, I don't think we talk about the race of a woman we were with the same as if it were action figures we collected (she had Kung-fu grip!!!!)
I'm attracted to basically every race of woman out there and I've never thought it about it that way. Only thing that does suck and semi-supports your question is that when I described one woman I dated, I would always add the label of "She's a KOREAN woman" instead of just saying "She's a new woman I'm dating."
I've dated both races..more white I think simply because of the area I've lived in. I admit that many times I have felt like a novelty except when it comes to white men prefer and only date black women....At any rate I dont have it in me to pick and choose who I care about based on their skin color..I was raised better than that...
Good advice superiodesign. I never thought to look for one who has already been in a long term interracial relationship. The education route though im sad to say is where i meet the most lustful white guys lol.
I think this is a valid question. I was reading an article, I forgot where from but I am sure you can google it, on why black women are so often called "sexy" but rarely "beautiful". Alot of my asian female friends struggle with this as well. Black female sexuality is considered exotic for some white men, and that can be dangerous.
I think dating older white men is one approach, but as someone who has gone that route, you will find amongst wealthy white men you are still, often, a NOVELTY and that is dangerous. If you are really concerned about this I would suggest 1) find someone who has dated black women (seriously) before. It is usually a gold star if the guy has married a black woman or been in a serious long term relationship...because he's less likely to see you as being some fantasy. 2) find someone who is educated and who you genuinely connect with on a personal level.
I love men who love black women (whatever race they are), but you have to find what feels comfortable between someone truly adoring this part of you and someone exploiting it. Trust your intuition.
Thank you for the compliment and no it dosent bother me at all, I love white men but sometimes I feel like they are never looking for something serious. At least the wealthy men anyway.
Your welcome. I guess that seems to be the overwhelming theme women run into now adays. Finding that man thats not a "Player" The only thing that comes to mind is, your in that age group where guys are still playing around, sowing their wild oats (I guess thats the old saying) so to speak. I also guess, LOL the only advise would be, be patient, the right guy will come along.
