Its funny to me to see how people these days are only concerned with what you look like in a bikini. When I was growing up my father instilled in my sister and I the importance of having a quality education. Now a days the only requirements it seems are what are your measurments!!!! What men and women both have to understand is this. Today we may look like supermodels but what about in the next twenty years when our looks begin to slowly fade. I dont know about anybody else but what a person looks like has always been closer to the bottom of my list of requirements. What I want is something that is solid. Something that is real. Something that will last through the good times as well as the bad. I dont know....maybe I am the only person who feels this way!!!!
Looks are fleeting. They help in getting a person but they don't work in keeping them. In the long run, your father was right to focus on education and charater. Good for him.
