Well life seems so unfair at times that it makes me want to run away and hide! Sometimes I don't know what to do I just stare at the wall while my mind is just wandering...I wish it was easy but that is just a waste of time. I am not mad that I don't have every material there is out there or anything like that I just want some peace.Even if I won the lottery I would just move somewhere quiet and peaceful where I would be able to relax without people always trying to hurt me lie to me and make me miserable...Now I know money does not bring happiness but it sure can make things here on this earth a bit easier to deal with...anyways I just want peace and I do not see that in my near future until I have enough money to escape this chaos and ignorance that surrounds me 24/7...=)

Good luck with that. I make no appologies for wanting and enjoying the finer things in life but beware you lose sight of yourself in the pursuit of financial freedom . It takes longer than you think and the goal is a moving target. Be sure to enjoy as you go and you will get there.

jadeprincessa, there many people in the USA your same shoes. And more people even worse off in the world.
I like to tell you a little story. A few years back I joined a mission group to build a little church in San Felipe, Mexico. I was appalled by the town living conditions. Tin Huts and dirt floors, 1 grocery store, the only building made of brick & mortar was the school.
But after a week I noticed the people were happy, every day the lady sweep their dirt floor and the dirt walkway giving the home a clean look. The chicken pen next to their hut was cleaned out while the kids played soccer the rocky surroundings while the sun was hot enough to boil eggs. The ladies always smiled and shouted "good morning" (in Spanish) Those people were happy people, most likely because they never left the fishing town to see the outside world. I saw only 2 cars & a broken down bus. When you know there are people worse off it should give you pride that you live in much better than you know conditions.

Try get a grasp of yourself and write on a piece of paper your goals. Then the steps 1.) 2.) 3.) etc. All the possible ways of how to achieve your goals. Be positive and feel strong and determined. You can't achieve your desires by being sad or an introvert.
Money only helps make living easier, but it doesn't buy happiness, that is for you to conquer. My best wishes for success.

I am so sorry to hear what you are going through. Take a deep breath, try and relax. It will pass. You are in my prayers.

Liv.

It must be frustrating to have to worry about money.  Sometimes if we put it into perspective we realize how rich we really are.  Did you know the average world income is only $7000/year.  In South East Asian countries like Timor-Leste the average income is $400/year.  Somalia is about $600 per year.  This is average.  That means half make less than that.  I know this doesn't make you feel better, but to truly poor person you are incredibly wealthy.
