I like the idea of dating a mother. I have two young boys and they would definitely understand the commitment issues, time, etc. involved. Moms also are very nurturing and more other-centered. There are guys out there who don't mind if you are a mom.
Depends on where the guy is. But for a guy in the US, China is quite a distance to overcome. Not to say it can't be done; but it's a lot tougher.
Yes, a young child is a deal breaker for some. I know, because I have a couple, too. But as long as you and any prospective suitors are honest about it, so what? You don't need to waste your time on someone who doesn't want kids. So, wish them well and look for one who will welcome your child, too. There are lots of men who would open their heart for that.

I agree. I have two kids myself, and at this point I would not spend any time with someone that would welcome them into his life, no matter how much chemistry there is between us.

so its the damn location then. As I suspected. But what can I do, my career and reputation within my industry is here. I can travel but for me to relocate, it'll need to take some kind of millionaire.
but hey, china's the THE emerging market, and everybody wants a piece of that pie. come before it's too late

I understand the China market I deal with many in my business. The problem for me personally and I'm sure alot of men like myself, is the same issue you have. Most of us can or won't relocate for the same reasons.
