I hope you turned this scammer in to MMCounselor.  They take fakes and scammers very seriously.  You need to stay safe on this (and any other ) dating site.  NEVER give out your personal email, phone number, name or address unless you have met your date a few times and checked him/her out.  It does not cost much to do a backgraound check these days.
If someone asks you for money they should be reported right away. MM is good about removing those that are out to hurt others by deceit.
Dont let a few bad apples deter you in your search.  There are some very nice people on this sight that are serious about looking for love.  Follow your gut instinct, it is usually right!!

Ask for more pics, in current, and past, casual settings. If they don't have any, that's a warning sign. If they won't take a few and send them, that's a DEFINITE problem. And keep asking for more. And send more of yourself, too. If you are trying to learn each other, more is always better.
