i wonder why people easily give up on the most powerful word that ever existed LOVE lol WHY? because those who have ever been inlove either fall in love with the wrong persons and for this, love is not reciprocal instead it is being bought over or won over love isn't suppose to be that way instead it should be a free gift. it is said in the bible that GOD so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that who so ever believed shall be saved

It sounds like you are speaking of divorce and why people give up.  The statistics show that women initiate or file for divorce up to 90 percent of the time.  For all women it is about 70%, for college educated women it is about 90%.  I think the answer of "giving up on love" might best be answered by another woman.

Depends on the people and what they want..everyone is different. And there is the thing called dissapointment, when u come to a certain point of betray.Well,u r like helping him, even financialy, and building him up,and he is into another woman! That is love.It takes away everything! So,it has to be compatible in every sence with EVERY LINE OF CHARACHTER,in order to work out!! So u have to find someone similar to your interests, orientation and background, even hobbies..Aaah, thats what Ive got for being with less successful one.Its better to be alone than with someone who is just not your match! You cant build unbuilt person. You can not teach her to be successful if he wants to have just fun.Oh boys!!! boys till they r 70 :)

    Quoting BeeLOVE:

I agree but LOVE is already within ourselves<3
We don't need a Man or a Woman to make us complete.)

I agree Find a person who brings out the best in you and makes you feel valued. Not a person who criticizes, judges or emasculates in any way. One who is proud to be with you in public and around family. Who has nothing to hide and is willing to talk about their inner feelings, insecurities or vulnerabilities. One who wants to serve you and the relationship. One who doesn't think its all about themselves and what you can do for them. But is interested in the relationship and how to grow it.

    That is love.
