Men have on their profile No Gold Diggers but seek women 22? Dating Tips and Advices Forward to friends

Ok, I am going to get something off of my chest! Why do lots of men on here who are middle aged and older have on their profile NO GOLD DIGGERS, but they seek women who are 22? Hello? Even if they don't seek a woman that young, why even put that on your profile when you are on MM? It is really comical to me. If you are not seeking a gold digger, than why even have certified millionaire on your profile? This is crazy to me! Just sayin!

“All this emphasis on youth - I don’t buy it. Listen, I know what a misery being young can be, so don’t tell me it’s so great. All these kids who came to me with their struggles, their strife, their feelings of inadequacy, their sense that life was miserable, so bad they wanted to kill themselves... and in addition to all the miseries, the young are not wise. They have very little understanding about life. Who wants to live everyday when you don’t know what’s going on? When people are manipulating you, telling you to buy this perfume and you’ll be beautiful, or this pair of jeans and you’ll be sexy - and you believe them! It’s such nonsense.”  Morrie Schwartz

Yes, it is true that some men don't want Gold Diggers and do want the companionship of a woman that might be around 20 years younger.  I think it makes them feel younger and they get a sense of pride.  Its almost as if they feel that people will look at them as if they have garnished a special prize due to being so "special".  But in reality, don't we all wonder and snicker when we see that? What does this tell you about that kind of man?  It tells me that they are not in touch with who they really are and may not be very interested in finding out anyway.  Its almost as if they have lost a sense of reality. THe same way they are living a lie about the 22 year old not being with him for his money, they probably lie to themselves on every other level.  These type of men can stay with the 22 year old because a mature woman will probably steer clear of him, she knows better.
By the same token there are many women that are "cougars" and have "cubs".  I think they have the same issues that these older men looking for 22 year olds have.  And the cubs probably have the same goal as well as issues that the 22 year olds with the older men have.
In my opinion, the years you live, if you lived them well, give you a certain amount of serenity and wisedom.  I wouldn't trade these qualities off for a tight body any day.  But to each his own and as usual, people will take what they are only ready for and leave what they just can't handle.

Its funny cause most men on here are looking for women much younger than themself. They are NEVER looking for women their own age or older. If I see ANY man (not just a millionaire) and their profile says minimum with more than 5 years younger than myself, I don't even take a second look at their profile. Even if their max is older than me, I don't care. I have a daughter and I don't want him to be looking at her one day!=)

mmm I have to agree ..
in my experience with wealthy men it seems that they don't wish to be openly used for their money but rather remain ignorant about it.
I.E. how many times friends of mine and men I have met have said they met this great girl and she is not after my money at all!
Meet the girl and she is a total twat.. but hey ho.. great in bed.. which all a guy asks for in the first place.  I am a women and my children go to state school thanks to the ex not giving us money (hider) and after meeting all the women at school and the like I can definately confirm that people are superficial in general no matter where you go. The more you have the more they want you and the less you have the less they want you.
I find it all rather appalling if I'm honest. I would really just like to find someone who loves me for me and not because I am a hot yummy mummy!

I agree w/ the 10+ years in either direction comment. It would be very hard for me to imagine a girl 22 to be able to really understand my life. Yes, our horizons might match in terms of settling down. But she is really just starting her adult life.

I like this site because i can stand out a little more from the crowd. On free sites, men outnumber women by a wide margin. However, i am certainly not here just to fly random girls from around the world to come see me.

I am not a gold digger (Have my own money), and as my profile says, I have no interest in either being a sugar-momma or finding a sugar-daddy. So why would a successful, educated, and attractive woman come to THIS site? Because a quality man with the characteristics that I seek will also usually be successful in business. It's that simple. It takes charisma and intelligence to succeed (usually), and I want a man who is at least my equal if not my superior, intellectually, etc. Weeding through all of the blue collar workers, the unemployed, and the wannabes on other sites is just too time consuming. I'm tired of going on dates with men who get confused when more than one fork is on the table, who don't know a pinot noir from film noir, and who think that a Carnival cruise is "luxury travel"....

i get A LOT of that. the problem is that they are on a website called "millionairematch". no one would even know you had money unless you told them. very stupid & only setting themselves up for failure. these are the types of guys who will fall in love with the biggest, slickest gold digger, marry her, & try to kill themselves when they find her with the pool boy 3 months later....

meow!!!    lol....ladies. It's frustrating I know. The difference Blonde between us and Cassandra is that we have been dealt some hard blows but have come out on top. She on the other hand thinks she knows what she wants...could also be that she craves father figures...who knows? I will 42 next month and I look her age! Bad things happen to goos people Cassandra, you should be thankful that your life is good. and try not to put others down, it shows too much immaturity. I am sure at 22 you are no longer in high school...have fun. Blonde...don't mind her. Airbus...good observation....Ginger well said, you too NGL.

Blonde, I also find this subject interesting, but as easymantolove says in his last 3 sentences he has hit the nail on the head.

Also, I think it's a matter of youth. As we age, we also want to hang onto a youthful feeling. Thats why some of us older men, workout, eat properly etc,, to stay in shape and have lots of enery. Younger women make us feel that way also. they give us a youthful prospective and energy.

Women do the exact same thing. They came up with the term "Cougar" for a reason. If you look through most of the women's profile on here, you will find that the majority of women in my age range want men in their early to mid 30's and thats OK with me for 2 reasons, 1- I understand their wanting the validation that they're still hot and they want to share their experience with the younger generation, 2 - when they take all the 30 something men, that leaves the 30 something women for the older men. I guess it works out for everyone.

first of all cassandra has no idea how the world works. Just becaause a woman has no kids or  isnt married by 40 she has no clue, bless her heart. Its a choice or whatever the circumstances are. Cassandra, dear, do not mock what you do not understand, life and realetionships are tough out there. if u ever find your soul mate and should that not work out and you find yourself back out here with a child or 3 and looking for a relationship, then you will undesrstand. Men and woman are different thats why were were here. so good luck my dear. There are many guys out here that have their "shit' together' but they are  expeirencing "life"  just saying. Please dont be too hard on us, okay! Blonde girl, she is just "saying" where she is at life !! life is good !  just laugh ! not at anyone just life because its funny !! god I hoped i spelled everythin right  !!! opps left out the "g" my bad !!

Sweetie, get a dictionary out next time you post! You may want to ask one of your older boyfriends to help you with spell check!

Personally, I think anyone who goes more than 10 years in either direction of their age is a total ding-dong.

Beyond that, I think regardless of your gender, gold diggers is a fact of life on here and anyone who would post "no gold diggers" in their profile is an idiot.

Now, having said those two things I'll also say this: any guy over the age of 40 knows the young girls only hang with you because of what you have to offer: Money, power and access.

But then, without those 3 things 90% of all women wouldnt give a guy on here a 2nd look.

I find it obvious, it is prostitution.

Right-on Wow, It's very plain to me though...they want to have sex with young cute girls with a hot body...but not want to have to spend their money on

To all middle-aged men or older...if a cute 22 year-old girl wants to date you or agrees to have sex with's because you have money...Helllooooooo..

Like wowthatblonde said...why even register on MM if that's the case? Not logical.
