the reason i joined this site because i think there are more men with class, its not the money i am interested in.

I really thought that i woulld meet a man who had money to take care of himself. i don't need anyone's money, i am well off. most of the men on the other sites, see yo are a widow and they think, ah, money and free lunch.
that is not something i bargained for. i want someone who likes me for who i am, not what i have in my bank account.
i have had very little to no luck with the men on this or any other site. they all are a mess. i am very particular because i had a great marriage for many years and i picky.
if you can treat me like a princess, then i will give you a chance, but no young boys should apply.

Here is my honest response.  I want to be in a loving, committed relationship with an attractive woman.  This site offers the most possibility of finding that.

Having spent 6 years supporting a partner who was financially inept, who went bankrupt and failed in multiple business ventures that I bank rolled for him, I made a firm decision to only involve myself, in the future, with someone who was solvent and independent. Someone with drive and ambition and who would occasionally pick up the coffee tab!!!!

I am not interested in that someone being a millionaire, just being someone who isn't after a free ride! Thats why I came on here.

I first joined out of curiosity. I met 3 people from this site and I was surprised about how nice they were. It didn't click with all of them on a deeper level, but all 3 were a great experience. I'm quite picky and i'm convinced going to the bar isn't the best way of meeting people. On here the men in general tend to be more intelligent and ambitious and they seem to have themselves together. They are often well mannered and have seen alot of the world. And yes, let's not be hypocrite, the fact that they are rich doesn't hurt either, but it really isn't their most interresting feature.

I joined this site to find my future best friend, lover, husband, and father for my son. And yes, he has to have money. I want to live a comfortable lifestyle and not have to worry about money. Right now I am driving a car with no brakes - emergency brakes only. (an accident waiting to happen). Because I can't afford to fix the car and the car lot wont let me finance another one. I don't have enough income and I have noone to cosign. But I don't feel sorry for myself because I know that there is always something better just around the corner. God takes care of his own.

I've read some good humourous lines here, i'm thinking we all need blessings to bring us the results we are looking for..

    Good tidings to all.

decarlo, if so jaded, why are you even here? I have my own money, so you are wrong. I do not, however, want to date someone that I have to support or pay for everything.

I haven't as yet joined this site but if i do it will be for the following reasons...
    1. Scammers don't necessarily want to spend money for memberships; cuts into their profit margin (if any). Add to the fact that this site has an active alert to keep them off.

    2. More genuine people to meet.

I think there is a lot of denial out there. I joined this site because I was curious about it, hoped to meet other great people in the US and the world to tell about what I do to help other disabled persons to have and TRAIN their own service dog to promote more awareness, and if someone wanted to help my organization out down the road, I would be grateful, as would the next family with an autistic child, overburdened with care and financially strapped with all the extra expenses insurance doesn't pay, and a service dog allows mom to cook dinner with no melt downs(severe temper fits). How can any of us who join a site that has Millionaire in the title, not imagine, hope we will meet one who will like us, our cause, what ever? I do. I am soo poor from many of your incomes.
I live on my retirement, in a nice double wide mobile on 7 acres outside a small town in ARkansas. My home, land, vehicle are paid for. My two rentals will be in 1 more year. We have goats, are in the process of building a fox proof chicken coop before we replace the chickens, and barter with neighbors when we can. Many of us believe self reliance is a must as the economy is not climbing out of this situation. so we are doing little economies and gardens...talking about getting off the power grids....

I came from a strong middle class background, my Dad was an Army Officer. I grew up secure and have dinned with enlisted, generals, admirals, statesmen and Captains of Industry. Europe was my childhood playground, and I love the arts and fine living.
But I won't be miserable if I never see Italy, or Greece, or sup in an Irish pub in the country side.

I am happy with my life, I share it with a group of friends, and I do work that has meaning for me. Some sponsors to help the organization would mean we could do more. Help more people learn to be more independent and become LIVING ADVOCATES for their lives. Help working and middle class families with autism, or any disability where insurance will not and income is too stretched to have a creature of such love and service, you cannot imagine the change in their lives. I can, I am in a wheelchair. My Josie Rose, my service dog I trained, is the most precious thing to me.

Do I think anyone will care? I don't know. I hope so. But this allows me to get the word out to the world, to perhaps people who might have some money, who might care. And my organization is a non-profit, so it's tax deductible.

I signed on for same reason. I found other sites, but the ridiculous emails from tatooed mullet wearing "greasers" were getting out of control. I don't expect that some knight in shining armor is going to be found, but hopefully a bit more intellectual conversation and hopefully someone who was at least interested enough in pursuing intellectual goals to get through four years of college!

    Quoting MusicDan:

I joined this site because I hate trolling through bars trying to pick up woman who think they are teenagers again.  I'm came here looking for a sophisticated woman, who can be fun and relaxed during the day and be elegant for a night on the town.  I like that most of the woman on this site can write a complete paragraph with proper English grammar and are articulate in conveying themselves and what they desire.

I don't want to sound snobbish, but the trailer park set just doesn't work for me

I second that, only from the female perspective.
