You have an astounding memory, Ms. Sweet! I always aspire to have a man to celebrate Christmas and New Years with. LOL Sometimes it works ... most times the timing is off!

BTW - the shorter the woman the taller they like there men - weird...

My ex is 6' 8." I'm 5' 7."

I recently met a guy and we've both sort of taken a shine to each other. He's 6' 2" and weighs 280 lbs. He's like a wall. His calves are like my thighs and his neck is like a treetrunk. Best thing is ... he's delightfully intelligent, witty and humorous. I think I might fall in love! LOL

Oh do tell my brilliant bird who this hunk of manhood is. Enquiring mind(me) would love to know...Wink

Its tough - I'm 6'0 without heels and have always had a tough time finding men taller then myself, which is my preference. A little shorter is manageable, but I do like wearing heels!

Gentlemen there is nothing shallow about a woman wanting someone taller...LOL Me thinks when a man makes an issue about it there is a little of height insecurity..... Height is a "preference" I stand 6 ft with my heels on and although i do enjoy a man who is taller i can be comfortable with an eye to eye contact. Anything shorter by much won't be for long. I prefer being the one bent over not having to do the honors of bending...LMAo. So don't hold it against of if we balk because it's a comfort zone and a preference not a glitz to anyones manhood!!!!

Frankie i say you have nothing to worry about....LOL

Well I'm 5'4" and most people including my son & daughter look down at me! I'll tell you, when my son passed me at 12 & my daughter passed me at 15, they were in their glory! lol

But when it comes to someone I am dating...I'd like them to be a minimum of 5'9". I like to look up a little bit, versus looking them eye to eye. Just my preference.

Most women would need a ladder for me...with heels on.

Gotcha...so we should make sure the resort in DR has one or more ladders?

Thank you, thank you ever so much, Ready!

I always felt shallow for having exactly the same thoughts! Now, with you as a soul mate, I feel so much better!

By the way, my "perfect man" was supposed to be at least two inches taller than myself in heels, and my heels are usually 4 inches high!
But then again, I hung up my dating heels many moons ago! (still wearing them, though ...)

PS These arrogant feminist types will just hate us now!!!

Now we know! I can only imagine it would be tough to find a man that would wear your 4" heels. But to each then each their own. lol.

Good one Devo...lol

Although I bet you have a fetish with heels either licking them or wearing them yourself...lol

I will say one thing that my preference is taller men. However there is truth to the saying The smaller the package the bigger the surprise....wooo hooo.

Now with that being said Devo....Don't get the wrong idea your arse is too small for me.....Whip it good...

Wee, it really does not matter how tall a woman is, I seem to be able to look down on those most deserving. But then some just make it easier than others. lol.

Hope, look at the trouble you have started!

On the other hand gaze upon the ladies I look up to below! As TripleS' freind said "everything lines up when you are both horizontal" AND I will add "it does not matter who is wearing the high heals at that point.. "

If I can carry him around in my pocket, he's too short. As I am a giant, I do attract shorter men who are looking to add height to their gene pool. Now that middle age is setting in, not so much of an issue. Have found that shorter man may be threatened by a variance in height.

Some men have a physical presence that has nothing to do with height or size, so in that respect I am not bothered by it. As a friend of mine says, everything lines up where you are both horizontal.

Bottom line, depends on the guy.

I tend to agree with you ladies..A man at least 2 inches taller just makes you feel good..almost like a feeling of being protected. Besides I love to look at a man with longer legs..LOL

Psychologically, women do tend to date men of certain physical characteristics based on their own, subconscious, personality. Women who are insecure about their weight generally tend to date bigger and stalkier men because it tends to make them feel "smaller". Ones who are insecure about themselves as a person in general tend to date men who are, well, to be blunt, the slums of men. This tends to make them feel more comfortable because they don't have to impress, dress up and these people tend to follow suit with their own insecurities. Society expects much of us, especially physical appearance today. But women with a great deal of self confidence and esteem seek out those more of wealth and social butterflies and tend to be very high maintenance. NOT ALL, but most women do choose a mate based off their own personal attributes and life experiences. Women who lose a father early in life will seek out older men to replace him. Eye to eye has never bothered me. I have dated mostly taller men but also a couple who were my height (5'6" almost 5'7") or an inch or two taller. I base my decision to date off his behavior, how he treats me and intellectual background rather than physical appearance. Yes, you seek someone attractive, but I have many types I find attractive and what I look for number one is intelligence, then chivalry and further down physical attraction.

Hahaha Hope!

Hey ... are you calling me shallow??? Now them's fightin' words lol!

I don't feel it's shallow actually at all. It's how I feel and recognize that for me to feel comfortable, I need the height. I noticed every time I stood beside a tall man that I somehow felt safe and protected. Don't know where that comes from? Better ask Freud!

OMG how do you maneuver in 4 inch heels??? lol

Awwww shucks, you wanna be my soulmate, how sweet. Best offer I've had LOL! (IANLW)
