What is the favorite type of food in your neck of the woods. In the south, there is even a restaurant chain named blackeye pea. Most cafeterias and many family style restaurants will have cornbread and blackeye peas.

AND, we sure don't want to leave out okra and fresh tomatoes.

or catfish and hushpuppies

or barbecue anything

or shrimp,french fries, and salad

or a big beef steak or hamburger

or a veggie plate

Back later. Ibe hungry.

Hi,
This is very true, if there was a pill, the maker would be filthy rich.
You do need fat, but the saturated kind is very bad and the hydrogenated is even worse. The best way to get these out of your diet is to get them out of the house so they don't tempt you so much. Then, if you don't eat so much fat, you won't crave it as much. Try to replace it with olive oil, real butter, grapeseed oil or coconut oil. I find that real butter in reasonable amounts satisfies my fat cravings without all the hydrogenated junk. And high fat veggies like avocados and olives are good for you. They provide Vit E and omega 3.

I am not from the South, but I enjoy collar greens, catfish, barbecue and some cornbread. I particular only like catfish cooked by me. I never had the opportunity to eat any persons catfish from South. With the exception on New Orleans, which the food (ALL) was good.

People need to start to eat healthy. I am about eating my food instead of going to a restrauant. Well, eat up and enjoy.

Most people in the US know they are not eating right, but that pizza and bacon and fried food taste so good, and what the heck, you can't live forever, in fact, who wants too is the attitude. Unfortunately some people are dead or disabled way before their time.

So, why do most humans love fatty foods? If we can find a pill to take that will solve that problem get rich rich.

I can't do buttermilk either, but biscuits, pattie sausage or bacon, gravy, -- great.

Of course it will probably take 10 years off of your life.

Ha ha ha, I do have a microwave, even has a built in radio! Comes in handy for my dinner dance dates. When I invite my funky hunky over for a nibble; to partake of my culinary delights:kettle corn popcorn, we crank out the tunes from my microwave jutebox and do some high jiving!!

Boy, it sounds like quite a party at your place. I could never be a dancing, hi jiving popcorn eating funky hunky -- Not if a woman was handy to nibble. Waste of time, energy.

LOL, your making me hungry...now what's a girl to do without a stove??

Do you know how to use a microwave? You just hit a couple of buttons for time, then hit start. Be sure to put the food in first. Please use a cup, bowl, or a plate. It gets messy when you just dump it on the turntable and it won't hold much anyway.
