Since this is a site that either has or values so much money, what are your lusts and dreams with it? Your budget is infinity. What would your day look like? Oooh goody, this is fun and I know I'll leave off a ton of things that I forgot about.

Here's my list:

*Volunteer. I would LOVE be involved with the prison system and teaching communication skills as well as using dogs as therapy there. Weird, huh?

*Give and give and give to the humane society, but also work on finding ways to prevent the need for them in the first place.

*Go to fashion and/or beauty school. I can't get enough of doing makeovers.

*Go to some of the top fashion shows just for fun. I would hire people who need the work really badly to remake those fashions for me and pay them really well.

*I would have my hair styled weekly.

*Buy a Vespa scooter and a new bicycle.

*Would probably rent waverunners and invite my friends (I've never ridden on one before)

*Would move from my condo to someplace that I can have dogs to train for various purposes: Search & Rescue, Dog Dancing. Would have my own barn/studio with neat equipment such as an underwater treadmill. Plus I would live far enough away not to have to see my neighbors.

*Would have fun parties with interesting people (some would be casual; some would be elegant and catered).

Ok, that's it for now. Back to slaying dragons.

I have known for years what I would do if I had an unending supply of money..
1. Quit my job and volunteer my time with terminally ill children. What a gift that would be
2. Make a large donation to St Judes
3. Make an untimate wish come true for a Make a Wish child.

Well, we share the same dream. I watched my dad and mom get older then helpless and realize that today's facilities are simply lacking and at times awful. What is not realized is that old people's don't need to be moved from the friends that they have made as they become more and more frail. I have a idea about how to solve that problem.

Every year my son and I would go to Thailand and volunteer at orphanages and donate time and money - and probably open up more orphanages. I'd continue working online, which is what I do now. But not to make sure I pay the bills but to use my Internet Marketing skills, web design skills to help with the orphanages. I'd also travel with my son. I might also open up a spacious yoga/contortion studio and work there to help myself and others release tension, gain flexibility and strength and feel healthy again! Oh yeah - and I'd also have a big hot tub and a large backyard. :)

Hey Dorma, I agree with your comment about CarpeDiem. She is beautiful and has it together. And look how blessed with that little boy! She will not be on this site very long..

Just one question, if you had had unlimited money and bought everything you wanted; Where Would You Put It?

You are a very special person to think of this. My dad is in a very nice VA facility (it is beautiful and they care for everything). I am willing to live without Creme de la Mer for a month (lol) to and save every single penny so that I can live in one of your facilities! What a fantastic idea.

My dog is a therapy dog at the VA and they love to see and touch her. It is so wonderful to see the surprised, happy look on a face that seems kind of down in the dumps.

If you would let me, I would bring in a troupe of affectionate animals to entertain, cuddle, and amuse the residents (a dancer, giant & little cuddlers, a big, fat, loveable cat, a precocious bird), etc.

There's no such animal as unlimited money. This is a next paycheck kind of question, oh I am going to buy a flat screen TV with my next paycheck. When does it end?

If you had unlimited money--say that animal did exist, you would spend more time caring and feeding for it than you realize.

I think if you could have more time, most of things everyone listed could be accomplished, am speaking specifically about the volunteer ideas. You do not need unlimited funds. You need desire.

Are you going to start living when you get unlimited money? No you live now. Someone gave me advise a long time ago, she said: if you are careful you can have everything you want.

Everyone who posted here is a woman, except Bob who loves women and apparently fast food. Women, you all ready have everything you need to be happy. The rest is just icing.

I realize this is all in fun, but there is always a kernal of truth and how a person perceives his or her life so just want to turn over the apple cart so you can pile it back up the way you want it.

Well if I had unlimited $$$ I would fight my very wealthy ex to be for rights to my son and have an attorney as good as he does I feel no child should be used as a pawn to hurt one parent or worse the child

I am now as an American fighting overseas and ( working on a constigency seems like a foriegn word)

I would give money to Women of Domestic Abuse since
I would give lots of money to help combat child abuse because I survived this from my father and picked a man like him ( we learn to accept things and repeat and CHILD abuse leaves scars for a very long time.
I would want all perpertraitors imprisoned .
I would also send money to stop child trafficking in Thailand.

I would bring public awareness to ( Conflict Diamonds and the wars they support.
SUDAN< The Modern Day Holocaust.
Repair our schools here in the USA that look like they are third world.

HUMANE SOCIETY of course and yes animal therapy with art, and music but animals really can teach us a lot.

More awareness of Depression....

I would want to also help to develop alternatives to oil.

And awareness and respect of all people by race, sex and religion.
Tolerance and Peace.

Very laudable, but if we could get Bin Laden to smell like an Arby's burger, my dog could find him before you could say "Curly Fries."

Wow Bob, don't you think that's just a little materialistic? I could understand another waverunner, but an Arbie's extravaganza? How outright glutonous and hedonistic of you. I will be sending some missionaries over to visit to help you get in touch with more philonthropic thoughts and a hardcore vegetarian activist to make you feel guilty (read "Fast Food Nation") and scared.

Wow, I love this thread and such great answers that I didn't think to include in mine. Whee! I love being pretend obscenely wealthy.

Yes, I would be right there behind you with supporting fuel alternatives.

I wish I could fix the rampant human breeding that is going on (the kind that is generational welfare and results in no education and crime). Apparently, Japan and UK are having a human crisis (not enough people are reproducing and they are trying to encourage them to have children)--how about just encouraging people with children from our overcrowded cities to move over there and fill up their space? Is that bad? Anyhow...

I would get my mom whatever she wants (a maid, a driver, a house in La Jolla) just to quit the endless complaining (I did NOT just say that). I might have to edit and remove.

I'd have homes where I could enjoy all the seasons, and move around a lot between them.

I would hire someone to clean the cats' litterboxes.

I'd have a sexy sports car. A Jag perhaps.

I would send my daughter to the best college.

I'd pick my cause and stick with it: I would give lots of money to domestic abuse shelters and to organizations fighting human trafficking and the exploitation of children.

I would see the world and meet new people from different walks of life.

Go camping and hiking. Learn how to ski.

I would write a book or two.

For exercise I would spend at least three days a week at the dance studio, and shake my booty in the clubs on the weekends.

I'd cover the college and medical expenses for everyone in my extended family.

I'd go bananas over shoes, clothing and jewelry! The fashionista would be IN THE HOUSE.

And I'd look young until I died, just like Audrey Hepburn.
