I have a blog posted entitled "Joy of Gardening" and have had requests to post some pics, but it's much easier to post them here because I don't have to wait to see them posted.
Spring has finally arrived and this is my favourite time of the year! Just love the freshness, the bright lime green colour of trees coming into bloom. Here's a picture of my Kwanzan Japanese Cherry, so pretty and delicate, but unfortunately the blooms don't last long, but I did enjoy them!
This is a shot just outside my kitchen, you can see how much snow has fallen by the peaks on the planters. Had to dig my dog a path as he's got short little legs lol!
Haven't added any garden pictures for ages, so here are a few from Winter '07. We had one of the worst winters in 50 years this past winter both for snowfall, gray skies and cold. Looking at these shots though, they are beautiful!

Hi there,
Thank you for the compliment, it is a lovely plant even when not in bloom. The orchid is not aquatic and for the life of me, I cannot remember what it is called. You can get it at the bright orange home improvement store, however.

These pictures are all fabulous. Ready you definately have green fingers. Thank you for sharing this forum. Hope you will post more evolving through the seasons. *smile*
This is a shot after a substantial snow storm from my kitchen looking out on the deck. We received about 1 ft. in 24 hours and have to dig a pathway or my dog gets lost!
Just downloaded pics of my garden Mar. 5'07 and found some from last year. This is silverleaf vine, a very fast growing, twice a year blooming, vine. Hope you enjoy!
Just wanted to post a little Christmas cheer with this amazing Double Record amaryllis. I gave it to everyone on the blogs for Christmas, so thought I'd share it with the forumites too!
It blooms 6-8 weeks and I've always treated myself to a beautiful amaryllis each Christmas.
Merry Christmas Everyone! Hope 2007 is good to you all!
