I have two absolutely adorable fawn male pugs, Winston and Rudy. They are SO much fun to have around and very, very 'people-y' dogs. They have to be with their people at all times, even when I'm taking a shower; they lie down on the bathroom floor and wait for me to emerge, lol. I could tell you all kinds of stories but suffice it to say that I've been 'pugged' for life!
omg! me and my ex (bf at the time) was puppy shopping and I had "play time" with a pug...when got him he was overly happy wanted to play and I made a mistake and dropped the poor little guy...omg! I was so scared there was even a tear in my eye. For a wk straight we had to visit the little fellow just to make sure he was doing great.
Btw, the cutie pie in my photo is Rudy, who's now four and a half years old. If you're thinking he's a tad bit on the small side.. he is. He was a preemie born about two weeks too early; his mother started having problems and had to be taken to the vet for a C-section. There were seven puppies but only Rudy and his sister Twinkie ('Miss Twink' as her breeder affectionately calls her) survived and they both had to be bottle-fed from day one. Their breeder took both babies to work with her every single day. As a result Rudy is extremely affectionate and well-socialized... he loves nothing more than to jump into my lap for a loooooooooooong snuggle! I'm just crazy about him and his uncle Winston (whose sister is Rudy's mom). Originally I wanted a boxer, but my mom won out with the pugs.. thanks Mom!
