Hi Len,
I live on the South side 4 blocks from Sox Stadium, I work further south on the South Side. Since I left Naperville I have not been back to Downers Grove. Nothing there really. Too surburban. Currently I am only minutes from the downtown. I see the skyline from where I live. Weather is Ok, I am not a big fan of cold weather. Yuck!
Anyway!!! Have a WONDEFUL Christmas and A prosperous New Year!
Sharon

BTW- How are you liking the big city life in Chicago? Different? Any ideas if I pop in on you darling, lol? We could have a blast in your area, Donners Grove, Downtown, South Side, any ideas? Let me know! Talk to you soon my dear.

Yes, he is. He's our second one. Our last one had to be put down after 14 years, which is 2-4 years longer than the average life span of the breed. It took us a couple years to get to wanting to get back into raising a puppy.

His personality is coming out. He's cute & funny! He's doing well in all training areas except the peeing, although he's improving a little each day. I don't know where the breeder had him do his business, but he can be outside for 20 mins, not go, then as soon as he steps in, viola! He's improving our patience.....

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but couldn't resist showing off our new puppy, Simon (and not named after Simon Cowl!). He's 12 weeks old and simply adorable.

Hi Everyone!

Well Jama Cutie,

Have you got your lil cutie (Dog) yet? Write and let me know darling! I suspect the weather has improved in the windy city now? Hope it is not too hot and humid. You can always head for the lake, lol. How about Navy Pier? I like to hang there when in town, good times, good food, and people watching can be interesting, lol. Nice talking with you Sharon. Talk to you soon sweetie.

Hi Len!
I am still waiting for my silvery pet. I am about to ask for my money back!
The weather here is beautiful. At the moment I am presently packing. I am moving into the City and will be three blocks away from the Lake and 5 blocks away from China town and another 5 blocks from Little Italy. I am sooo excited. I have not lived in a big city since I left New York as a teen. I did live in London for 5 years, but it is not the same. I am making this move as a step towards being a "Free" woman. Free as my children are older now and I can now enjoy "my" time.

Speak soon, Sweetie and be sure to LOOK ME UP when you come to Chi-town. It will be a blast!!!

Take Care babe!
Sharon

Oh Jama Sweetie,

It is also so nice to see you and chat with you too. It has been a while too hasn't it? So how is the weather treating you back there? lol.

What a cute lil dog you have there. And I see some other ones too on this post. Like the saying goes- man/woman's best friend. They don't argue back to you, they love you unconditionally, are loyal, and are low maintenance, lol. Talk to you soon darling!

Hi Len,
Th weather is awful. Lots of rain and very little sun. I am engrossed in school for a career change (well, not really a change, just something else to do, so I am not on here as much).
I have not received my pooch as yet none of the litter were silver, so I am still waiting.
Good to hear from you Len
Keep in touch!

Sharon (
Jama)!!!!

Aaaaaah those dogs are sooo cute. Jama i think your pooch is cute but i also would never pay that kind of money for any dog. There are too many homeless ones. And many are a registered breed. For that reason i was most impressed with the Dallas system for their shelters. They do NOT euthanize any animal. The have what is held twice a yr. a very big and popular adoption day. All of the Dallas area comes to these and they place many of their animals. They also have donations which of course do not always exceed their need but they have managed to be very proud of their ability to keep these animals safe. I have gone into shelters before and the last one was many years ago. My ex swore on his ife he would never set foot in another one with me. I bawled my eyes out for the rest of the day.
There are so many animals thru out the states. My fondest wish is that EVERY vet will have a free/cheap clinic for neuter/spade of animals. There are quite a few who do but the % is very small as a whole. This is the one thing they could do to help the population of the US and the pet owners.
Here is a picture of the baby owned by the woman i stay with in Florida. Her name is "JASMINE" she is a 10yr/old toy pomeranian. She weights 2 LBS. Most of that is hair...LOL. She is one of the most precious little dogs i have ever seen. She even walks on her front feet. A sight to see when she does it....

Stat!
Thanks for the post. I actually do love pomerainians, they are too cute. Still like my lil bundle of fluff though.!!!

Jama I DO think your little ball of furr is precious and i hope you have found the one you want.....Me i would be afraid to have one like Jasmine as those toys are very fragile and have to have special attention more so than the bigger ones. Plus if i ever stepped on one that would be all she wrote.....:O(

Stat!
That was a major concern of mine, before I purchased such a small dog. Stepping on him by mistake. OUCH!

Hi Brains,
I actually saw a goldendoodle today. What a cutie. I guess the smaller those dogs are the more they cost.
