I am curious as to the main source(s) of one's networth from members on this site.

Is it:

1. Real Estate
2. Stock Market
3. Venture Capitalist
4. Trust Fund
5. Inventor
6. Hi-Tech
7. ??

It would be interesting to note whether consumer services or products are a leading category or perhaps the industrial sector for members of this site.

My gut feel is probably real estate is the dominant factor.

My own interests involves construction services, management services and high technology. And soon to be mergers and acquisitions.

well, after I made my wealth, I sat around counting it and managing it...a year of that and I thought to myself, this isn't life. This wealth is something I can use to give and invest in others and in so doing I will get back more. Nothing could be so close to the truth...give and get back magnitudes more in return. When you invest in people, the right people, the ROI is unbelieveable.

But don't forget that a fool and his money are soon parted.

Hi Bob! New on the Forums...just saw this and am curious of which projects, charities, ministries you are involved that you see this unique ROI. If this is too public of a venue, feel free to email me. I'm interested. Thanks! Debbie

Bob,interesting note about the solar panel you're involved in. Is the metric based upon power output on a specific density basis for a fixed surface area? Do you manufacture in-house in Canada or is outsourced? I am curious.

I don't believe in easy money either, I worked my rear off to get where I am...7 days a week 18 hours a day, some days no sleep...a couple of times no sleep for two nights. 5 years of that...build character, destroy a marriage, and when it was over the pain I suffered wasn't worth it is how I felt. Today I feel differently. I've changed a lot of lives for the better and helped make a lot of millionaires and continue to do so. Unfortunately, I don't have a women in my life to share it with me.

Hi-Tech Services . . .

and plenty of long, lonely nights at work.

I don't believe in easy money - I became an overnight success(after 25 years of working at it)!

my wealth came from building businesses that got acquired. my first score netted me single digit millions, my second score is netting me double digit millions and I'm actually getting my check tomorrow for that one, and my third score, I'm working on now, I expect will net me triple digit millions. The "easiest" pathway to money is to build a business that another company will want to acquire and pay a premium for.I got in before the balloon and got out before it burst...and after it burst the acquirer sold it back to me for 10 cents on the dollar. My second business was involved with alternative energy...started three years ago, this field is taking off now. Great time to get out now for me. Identify the start of a trend and get into that business and work hard, very hard, to be the best at what you do. The result of three years of R&D on my alternative energy = I am the co-creator of the worlds most powerful solar panel, a panel that produces 50% more power than any other panel and weighs half as much as the previous record holder. Line up to buy it, because we're sold out and expanding as fast as we can.
