My ex-girlfriend loved red gummy bears so I bought about two pounds of gummies from the store then sifted through and pulled all the red ones out to put in a care package of other things I brought to her. The crazy part? I ate the other colors -- talk about a sugar high! Don't think I slept that night.

The craziest thing I've ever done is join this so called millionaire site, what a waste of my good money, I see nothing but phoney profiles and pictures of pin-ups cut out of magazines and placed in profiles, women who look like they have spent hours and hundreds of $/?s at professional photo shoots to try to look good for all these millionaires LOL, young men looking for rich older ladies to be their toy-boys, I suppose it was worth joining just to see the lengths some people will go to for a date, its bizarre. "get a life"

The sweetest thing that a boy ever did for me was when we found a mouse that had gotten into poison and was dying. I was afraid to touch it, so he carried it around for me and tried to save its life by giving it water. We showed it to a man down the road, and he slammed it down in the middle of the street and killed it. Billy consoled me the rest of the day. I cant think of anything sweet since I was 7. Damn my love life is pathetic, isnt it?

It was actually a few women who were all simply friends of mine:

On Valentine's Day, I went to the store and bought them all what are called spray roses (the best I could afford), built bouquets for each of them, designed home-made Valentine's cards with glitter and the works on them, and delivered them sporadically throughout my day whenever I got the chance. I was in high school at the time and I did this in between class periods. The reward of seeing their faces light up...listening to their beautiful voices as they said "Awwwwwwwww..." to me...and having them hug me and thank me with their warmth was the greatest reward I've ever received from life to date. It was one of the greatest days of my life.

Pinnacle23 that is so sweet and thoughtful. A friend recently did that for myself & a few friends this past February, and we gave him the same reaction! :-) It's the thought that counts and is so greatly appreciated.

Ok Guys, I read most of the comments,
let me tell you what impressed me as a woman, The look of love and admiration in guy eyes when he surprised me in my office with beautiful flowers, knowing he was thinking about me in that moment to come visit me middle of day, that worth a million, so if you guys want to impress woman you like, just show her how much you care.

What is the craziest thing I've done to impress a woman? Hmm....let me see....I really don't like to impress women with money and things but if they want something....if it makes them happy, then I like to see that happiness light up in their eyes. (I think that a women adds to a bauble's beauty and not the other way around). I always like to spring a "spur of the moment happy surprise" on a woman who is special to me. I don't want, expect or need anything in return. Savoring that moment is like watching a Sunrise. It gives me great pleasure and fun....it is a "one and only time" thing...."like you can't step into the same river twice".

Kari Replies:
That is sweet that you enjoy giving. I take more pleasure from giving as well. Taking time to select just the right gift just to see the joy in someone's eyes.

ArgonautOmega write:
There is a difference between Lust and Love but when both come together in one relationship....it is dynamite!!!

Kari replies:
I agree with the difference but we should also realize that the lust is the first phase needed. Too many people are intimidated by the power of the instincts when it is a simple biochemical response. We may find someone physically attractive but then we meet and there is no "reaction" because the pheromones aren't matching up. There is a raw nature to lust that lasts for the first three months max. It is enough time for the couple to procreate and that is nature's intention. Love comes with learning about the person and letting them learn more about you. Love transforms the lust into a long lasting expression of mutual respect and joy that can only be fully appreciated with a foundation of trust.

ArgonautOmega write:
If you find Lust, Love, brains and a good heart in just one physically beautiful, intelligent woman...why look elsewhere? Everyone's looks fade over time....no one is exempt....But just "remembering when" never allows one to see the changes in the other person due to time.....indeed, every line and wrinkle only becomes more dear.

Kari replies:
Yes, looks fade and with them so does ego. If people are shallow and only seek looks then they will be left with an empty needy shell of a person with whom they can't communicate. It is our wrinkles, both physical and from our experiences that make us real and human. Those that want plastic tend to get what they deserve.

ArgonautOmega write:
Oh I remember, I once sent a very nice gift, a letter and a bit of poetry to a woman that I fell in love with "at first sight" but I did not know exactly how to approach her. She always "turned all the guy's heads" wherever she went. I also got the uncanny feeling that this was a woman who was trustworthy and loyal. If you want to know the rest, just ask.

Kari replies:
People look for their "soulmates" without really knowing their own souls. I believe we have many soulmates because there are many people we meet that we "know" because we see aspects of ourselves in them. It doesn't take long to determine if we are in the same book with a person. What we really want to know is if we are lucky enough to be on the same page.

About ten years ago, I was dating a woman who really liked men with short hair. Mine was pretty shaggy at the time.

On Christmas eve, before I picked her up for dinner, I went to a drug store and purchased scissors, hair clippers and razor blades. Her present was to shave my entire head. She loved it !

We then headed off to her and then my parents places for celebrations and caused quite a sensation.

Nice thread!
Question could also be 'What's the craziest thing a guy has ever done to impress you.'
My answer to that question would be when I was 11 a boy stole money from his mother to buy me 20!!! Mars-bars.
Of course he got caught and I had all ready shared the chocolate with a dozen new friends I made.
I always remembered that, cause I think it's a cute story...

Since then I have been impressed, but not in a crazy way ;-)

XxX

Aimee.
