There is only one other poster here from Oregon. I have to think it's her. If so...you done good.

Of course to a man that drives back and forth all the way across the country, ID and WA aren't that far either, but I was guessing the same as you!

I think we got it right. She sure was singing his praises on one of the threads. Rightfully so.

Didn't I see you say you are from east TN? Do you know where Bean Station is? I used to go there in the summer. One of my uncles owned the Cherokee Lodge, right on the lake. My cousins went to Rutledge HS and one of them married a guy from Newport.

You old smooth talker. I believe I've spotted someone that's real anxious to meet you. Is this the date you were talking about? If so she's a babe.

Two guys I know...both had the short hair parted to the side look. Both got the same advice to change the hair style to the new 1 inch long buzz look...one guy got the advice from his daughter, the other fellow got the advice from an "Image Consultant". You might want to try it. It gives one a more modern and preppy look.
Having said that...you have to like and want a 'look' or you'll never keep it up.

i agree with sharp on that style of haircut also smaller glasses, more of a gq style would look awesome on you with the clean shaved face. as far as personality, i have read the things you post and i think you are a very kind man and that could not be improved. and i dont know why everyone is so worried about your spelling. its difficult sometimes to decipher but its like solving a puzzle, i dont know, maybe they are right, maybe it does show that you care. i love what libit wrote: dont change who you are, just add on to who you are

Well first of all I wouldn't want a man that I would have to mold. You should only change if that's what you really want. You know how to be a gentleman and you will know when you want to be one. When you come across that one and only lady, well you and she should be the ones talking about this cuz we all see our man in our own way :)

hey someone who is real.maybe this thing dose work.lol

You should watch Queer Eye for the Straight Guy on Bravo! Gives great tips for what straight men can do to increase the "it" factor.

Your glasses are 80s style. Invest in a pair of non Chips (you remember "Chips" on TV?) lenses, smaller frames.

The haircut is a little outdate. Men now have many more choices of hair cuts besides parted in the middle or on the side.

There is nothing wrong with facial hair, except that it is now constrained in some sort of orderly fashion. I've seen men (professionals) add highlights. A good hair facility (note I didn't say barber) can thin out where it is needed.

You don't want to change who you are, but just add on to who you are and what you represent as a man. :)

SlOWMO from all i have read behind the scenes you seem to be a very genuine, kind and honest man. I like you with your clean shaven but i also like a gotee style beard. These ladies have given you many good suggestions and one more tidbit i will add. If you don't like the short hair style then keep it longer but go to a stylist. She will fix it like you want. There are also many new styles of glasses if you have to keep them. But you know you want to do what is comfortable for you as it should be.............

Slow Mo.....a good haircut (lose the mullet) and a good picture (dark lighting in yours) is important but so is spelling! People tend to think you don't have even a high school diploma if you can't spell!
Use spell check and re-do your intro.

Say what you like and need, and leave the negatives out. (similar to what Katie said)

Your obviously a sweet, smart guy, so take the advise you asked for!

Good luck and hugs!
