Your Worse "BAD BREATH" Date!! Message Board

I had to make a topic of this. I not too long ago went on a date with a very wealthy lawyer. Classy, intelligent, well dressed. He had it really going on. But oh my God. His breath was so bad I handed him the bread and olive oil to at least mask it until dinner arrived. After dinner I offered him a stick of gum (obviously the bread, the wine nor dinner helped). He again refused. So, when he tried to kiss me good night I refused. I went out with him three times after that hoping there was somethin wrong with my sense of "smell" Needless to say my nose was working his breath just wasn't. So, I gave up my millinoaire dream. Would anyone have continued dating him?..He was pulling in 2 mil a year..easy!

The USED CONDOM would have done it for me. But it appears there were many other factors that caused you to lose interest in this guy. If he only had a cause of bad breath, you could have eventually and discretely brought the subject matter up to him. He could have had a cause of Halitosis which is a stomach illness (Gorgeous Clark Gable had it). But considering the loser you were dating had a used condom on the dresser when you walked in, looks like he had other things on his mind besides brushing his damn teeth**. Your better off in my opinion.

lol...good thread...Whenever I go out with a man I make sure I say...I don't like raw onions.....Men usually take the hint....if they order...no kisses will be had from me....It shows me they don't care.....

Maybe that is why I am still single...
    I am too picky......

I admit I used to offer breath mints...
But nothing can maske a good onion...lol......

    cooked is ok thought.....

    Food for thought ya'll

    Lucky!

    Rob thank you,
But he really was not my object of desire. There were other problems. But that was the most offensive. OH ok..not to mention I went with him to his hotel room to grab something and guess what was on the nightstand?????.A USED CONDOM..and NO..was not from me..How yucky was that?

At the risk of being offensive, I would have to say that perhaps a little honesty might have saved your million dollar dream... There would be no easy way to say it, but you could have made it clear that you were attracted to him and would have loved to have kissed him, but were put off by his breath. Being surrounded by it on a constant 24x7 basis, many people are unaware, so he probably found some other reason that it didn't work out with you to blame. I find it odd that you would discuss it with strangers but not the object of your desires. Don't let a breathmint stand between you and your dreams...
