Hello Everyone, I am new here and a bit skeptical about joining. Seeing that so many on here complain about no emails or responses to emails. This site does seem a bit stuffy, but I like that. The caliber of men are much better than some of the other sites i have visited. Well, I wish you all luck as I wish the same to my self.

*waving! I'm a newbie from Australia, you know like down under!
Just been introduced to this site recently, I'm hoping to find some like minded women to enjoy a little bit of life with.

If your ever travelling down under come and play. I love to dine out I enjoy theatre, sightseeing and dancing.

Happy New Year to everyone for 2005 - 2006

    Hello All...

I'm new to the scene also. Have chatted with some very nice and interesting people. But, have also encountered some "Stuffy" people. Guess that's to be expected. Good luck and let's have some fun...

I have been a member for several weeks. Though less that thrilled with this site thus far, I remain "hopeful". Many here are legitimately unavailable, a reality that is best identified at the outset.
What is most puzzling to me is the number of women you are showing as being on-line (and thus presumablly approachable) who do not respond in any form or fashion. Even if there is no interest a polite acknowledgement (or even an impolite one for that matter) would seem to be warranted here.
Sudden thought: Perhaps this site is just overwhelmed with Yankees who were never taught even the basics of civil discourse....? (smile)

Please don't always assume they are not responding, from the posts I have read the Instant Messenger and e-mail work sporatically. Perhaps they are responding, but this site just doesn't work well enough that you are getting them.

I think this could be a Beluga/Cr?me Fraiche site .Time will tell.

Never disclose to much information up front. Find out why they are contacting you, give them enough time and they will tell you their hidden truth about why they are interested in you.Good Wishes

I am also new here. Unlike a lot of you, I am stuck up here in the North...and yes it's a little chilly this time of year. I look forward to meeting some new people and hopefully forging some real friendships.

Hi all I'm a newbie here too. I'm slightly disheartened that so many men my age have much younger women listed as their criteria (considering I've always landed up with younger men myself) Non the less I'm going to give it a try in here for a while.
Season's greetings and the Best of New Years to all!

HI there, I've just joined and was looking at the posts in the forum. I read your profile and find it quite catchy and straight forward. I was just wondering what your experiences have been to-date....positive/otherwise? You see I too have a son, and am looking for a lot of what you seem to have posted, so I thought I'd ask...
Thanks for taking the time to read the note and look forward to your reply.
    Smile

I am a newbie as well . . . this is my last chance to find someone special or I swear I am giving up. I am just meeting really young men around here and not in the older men age group I desire. Younger men meaning 19-24. . . I desire an older more sofisticated man to date maybe more.

I haven't dated in 4 years, so I guess this is my cry for help. . . HELP :)

We will see where this takes me. . .

I have the rare opportunity of being a new bee here. I have found that many females use this type of dating to be invited to a nice restaurant where they would not normally go. I have learned to nip that in the bud by suggesting we "GO DUTCH" on the first date. Boy does that sort out a lot. If I find the girl accepts that then and only then we go out and if I find her company enjoyable I do pick up the tab. I have found some girls to insist on dutch. This does separate the gold diggers from the sincere. Honesty is very important to me and I have walked away from females who have misrepresented themselves with a very polite "No thanks, I'm not interested in misrepresentation, Have a nice evening." Some may think this is hard or rude but lets face it, are we here to be lied to on the first meeting? No we are not. Cut your losses and move on to someone who might be the end of the rainbow for the both or you. I know I may be "older" than most here but I find it hard for many to keep up with me. My Passport says I'm 60 but my body can still dance all night long then go to the beach for sunrise. Lets have fun and be honest.
