I believe brushing a woman's hair is one of the most intimate acts a woman and man can share.
Long, gentle, slow strokes, starting at the sensitive area at the back of the head, working gently down to the nape of the neck, then shoulders, while running my free hand through your hair just above the brush over the mid back and finishing ever SOOO GRADUALLY AND SOFTLY at the small of the back----then starting all over again, again, again, AGAIN....is an INCREDIBLY sensual experience in and of itself.
Of course, a bottle of fine wine could be appropriate for this exercise. And if the gal's hair is shorter, adjustments certainly could be made ;).
I'd advise you starting from the points of the hair and working your way up slowly, cause if there's any tangles and you start from the middle or top it intertwines it with the tangles beneath, so if you start from the bottom you free the hair better, at least it's the best way with mine!
My hair has been both short and longer and it doesn't matter. Skip the brush and use the hands/fingers through the hair. It's much more personal, sensual and actually can stimulate the senses (because there are touchpoints on the head that relate to other areas).
And actually, men like it too - even if they don't have hair. It's about the touch. Same thing goes for washing of the hair/head.
