Sharp those are beautiful pictures but it soooo coooold there!!! It is still in the 70's here. Gets chilly at night but warm in the day. I use to love the snow. Coming from Baltimore i missed that when i came to Texas. No snow for 3 yrs then. I am so climatized now i can't stand the cold. NYC is quite right tho winter clothes are great and if you can look good while cold then go for it. Winter fashion is so good to see..LOL

Bill i was out there in AZ for 2 yrs during the winter months. The first one was a few days in the 60's and the rest gorgeous 70's all the way. The nest i believe we had about a week of cold, but was wetter that winter. Still pretty pleasant overall. You guys have great weather in the fall and winter. Does it ever snow there unless you are close to the mountains?

Not a bad description of Tucson's climate by Lastone. Right now we have Hi's in the 80's and lows around around 50. Blue, blue skies. Perfect weather. Tucson is a well kept secret. Y'all come down here. Izabel ate my homework. LOL..

Since I have lived here, it has snowed a couple of times in Tucson. Once when I was going to the U of A and I was walking to class with a paper I had done for a final and the snow caused the ink to run down the page. The second time, snow actually stuck for a brief period, and kids ran outside in desperation to build a snowman. I was outside briefly today and it was around 80 degrees.

    Sharp I love those pictures!

    Winter is my favorite season.
I've always felt there's something very romantic about the winter. Maybe because I was born in January?

My personal feelings about winter follows. The best thing about it is that I can finally wear my large collection of boots! I must say that Sharp's photos are truly beautiful though.

Deep In The Depths of Winter

Deep in the depths of winter when all seems gray and dead
I long for the days of summer when the sun shone gold and red.
Deep in the depths of winter when life seems slow and dull
I long for the sounds of summer and the lonesome cry of a gull.
Deep in the depths of winter when an icy view greets my eyes
I long for the scenes of summer and the ocean so blue and wide.
Deep in the depths of winter when a chilly wind blows in the air
I long for a warm breeze of summer to run it's fingers through my hair.

I must have wires crossed somewhere because if I could I would spend summers at the beach and winters in the mountains.....I love cold winters...could be because of the hot flashes, hm?

I've loved the winter ever since I moved to AZ. It's the nicest time of the year here.

Hey Bobby...I don't want to hear you talking about how cold it is in Louisiana...k? Because earlier today it was 50F, I was walking around in summer shoes...and tonight it is now 30F (below freezing) and there is 3 inches of snow on the ground, and that big white fluffy stuff is still falling! Winter is upon us! It's hot in Louisiana Bobby...hot! lol
