I started watching a little more TV since the first of the year, and, against my will have been visually introduced to "K-fed" via the tabloids at the supermarket.

So, I understand your comment completely as you intended it now. I apologize for posting while not having a good grip of the subject. Sorry.

(blush) Can I blame it on just being a guy? :)

Thanks,
Robert

a "wife-beater" shirt is a t-shirt without sleeves that men wear under dress shirts..or should. I think it got this nickname because of the show Police Videos. Seems most men are shirtless or wear a "wife-beater" shirt on those shows. Ask a cop. Nothing derogatory was meant by using that term. Around here, that's what they are called.

Hint...muscle shirts, wife-beater shirts, and sweats...not good. How about a classy sport coat and tee?

Okay, I know I am setting myself up to get blasted, but I just cant leave it alone.

What exactly is a wifebeater shirt? And do we know that everyone who wears it beats their wife? What if a married woman wears it, is she going to beat herself up?

That statement should have been nothing more than a personal dislike against a particular style of clothing. So why imply the prejudicial wifebeater idea? Just say you dont like that type of shirt and leave the stereotypical imagery alone.

This is reminiscent of a thread we had about how sometimes people dont really think about what they post before they hit submit.

Okay I am finished, blast away.

:)

Sacred that was funny! I myself hate the term wifebeater, but funny just the same!

I would go with the second pic of you close view. It looks more personal and bring character to the photo.
