Well ... all my worldly problems just disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Out of the blue today, I received a message at the email address that is my secondary address (I switch back and forth between them to avoid spammers).

The message was entitled: WITH DUE RESPECT. Sounds like she's shouting like NYCHICK does a lot. Either that, or they watch 'The Sopranos' over there. I have pasted the message below:

    Dear Sir,

Good day and Compliments, I am writing this letter in confidence believing
that if it is the wish of God for you to help me, God Almighty will bless
and reward you abundantly and you would never regret this.

First and foremost, I am Ami Gansore, 23 years old and the only daughter of
my late parents Mr.and Mrs.Christian Gansore.

My father was a highly reputable business magnate (a cocoa merchant) who
operated in the capital of Ivory coast during his days It is sad to say that
he passed away mysteriously in France during one of his business trips
abroad year 12th.Feb. 2004. Though his sudden death was linked or rather
suspected to have been masterminded by an uncle of his who travelled with
him at that time. But God knows the truth!

My mother died when I was just 11 years old,and since then my father took me
so special. Before his death on Febuary 12 2004 he called me who accompanied
him to the hospital and told me that he had a sum of $8.5 million US DOLLARS (eight million five hundred thousand USD)deposited in one of the leading Security Companies in Ouagadougou, burkina faso.

He deposited the consignment with the Security Company mentioning my name as
the next of kin to the fund. He also explained to me that it was because of
this wealth that he was poisoned by his business assocaites, That I should seek
for a foreign partner in a country of my choice where I will transfer this
money to and use it for investment purposes. so that my father's kindred
will not take over what belongs to my father which they were planning to do
without my consent because I am a female as stated by our culture in the

I am just 23 years old and a high school leaving certificate holder and
really don't know what to do. Now I want an account overseas where I can
transfer this funds. This is because I have suffered a lot of set backs as a result of incessant political crisis here in Ivory coast. I am presently living in a neighbouring West African country Burkina Faso, due to the political situation in Abidjan.

I am in a sincere desire of your humble assistance in this regards Your
suggestions and ideas will be highly regarded. If you can handle this project sincerely and also willing to assist me in lifting this fund, kindly reach me on my private emailaddress:
    amigansore1983 @ y a h o o.c o.u k

Please, note that this transaction is 100% risk free and I hope to commence
the transaction as quick as possible, I will send you my picture as soon as
I hear from you for recognition.

Now permit me to ask these few questions:-
    1. Can you honestly help me as your daughter or wife?
    2. Can I completely trust you?
    3. What percentage of the total amount in question will be good for you after the money is in your account?

    My sincere regards,

    Miss Ami Gansore.

Well, needless to say, I am about to go from rags to riches ... wooohooooo!

Nah ... of course it's obvious what this is.

But hey ... no harm in replying ... my email address isn't linked to my bank account and what is there now might buy a half tank of gas, so they can have it.

I replied back to Miss Ami. Couldn't help myself and ... hey ... I might get rich, right?

    Dear Ami~

Sorry to hear about your dad. Sh*it happens. Evil uncles su*ck, don't they?

Anyway, hey, I'd be GLAD to help you out ... who couldn't use a little spare change? Let me know what I gotta do.

Now, in response to your questions ...

    1. Can you honestly help me as your daughter or wife?

Hmmm, well I can certainly help you as a business or sexual partner ... preferrably the latter, but let's see that picture first.

    2. Can I completely trust you?

Oh yes. Without trust, what is there, right?

    3. What percentage of the total amount in question will be good for you after the money is in your account?

Let's see here ... given the average life expectancy, I picked the age of 72, I have
31.944444444444444444444444444444% of my life left to live, unless I am poisoned first, while you have 68.055555555555555555555555555556% of yours left to live. Interestingly enough, if you add those two fractions together, it comes out to
0.999999999999999999999999999999, which is almost one. So if we play fair and look at our life expectancies, my cut of the 8.5 mil would come out two million, seven hundred fifteen thousand, two hundred seventy seven dollars, and 77 cents. Yeah, that'll be good. The rest you can keep ... including the chump change. I'm not greedy.

Actually, I have several very specific questions of my own. But hey ... let's wait until I see your picture.

WOW! Why did you wait so long to look me up? Dad's been pushing up daisies for over a year and a half now? Well, no matter. Send me that pic and start working on your entry visa! Oh, and one more thing ... I'm connected and my cousins Johnny and Sal not only paint houses, but they do their own carpentry work too. If I were to suddenly take ill or something worse, they'd be paying you a visit, up close and personal.

Very much looking forward to hearing back from you.

So ... when me and Ami (provided she's hot) throw our first party on our yacht in the Caribbean off Cozumel, I'm flying you all there! Just send me your email addresses and in the meantime I will keep you posted on what my new partner has to say to my reply. Oh ... and send me your bank account numbers ... gotta know where to wire the money for your plane tickets, right?
