My dear gentlemen,
How far is too far to go to reach the woman who may be the love of your lifetime....sometimes the woman of your dreams is more than 100 miles from your arms...

Sometimes the beautiful sensual lover that you seek, is well worth the journey to find her.

Take the time to look into the eyes of love.

The eyes do not lie....in them you will see the soul.

How far will you go to find your love?

I wish you all of the wonders of love and happiness where ever you are.

Luckysolucky,
Julia

Hi Everyone,

Too Funny Wrightwood, Butterfly, and Sharp!

And Julia, I will visit you next time I am in the Portland area. I just replied to your last email, you should get it shortly, lol. Keep Smiling lady!

Hey Sharon (Sharp), I thought the cruise was in February? If you have it in January I will not be able to attend. Remember, I will be at the 2006 Australian Tour in Australia most of January 2006! Thanks PS. Personal reply- (Use a 20 foot pole, LMAO Sweetie)

I'm aiming for around Feb 25, because that is the best time for me with respect to my daughter having time off school earlier in February and the last 2 wks of January for exams. So you should be able to come. You better email CAT regarding the train trip and cruise, because she's been weening herself away from the forums to study...she might not see your post to her! :-)

You are welcome Julia. I would love to meet you. Should you travel to Calgary look me up, or maybe you'll consider the cruise in Jan/Feb?

Sharp,

My lovely devoted friend...do you know how much I appreciate you...

You are wonderful, and I am going to make it a point to meet you somehow within the next year...

My reputation does speak for itself,
as does my tender heart. Thank you for protecting it. I'll not sling mud
here, I can't think of anything less becoming to a lady...

Happiness and blessings to you ALL.

Love,
Julia, still luckysolucky

luckysolucky - Guys are just telling you that you live too far because they aren't interested in you. If a guy is interested in you, then he won't tell you that you live too far. He won't care how far you live. Get over it babe, he's not interested in you.

When people make brash & rude comments regarding something or someone they know nothing about, they end up making themselves look extremely foolish; not to mention catty and lacking class.

Bill,
OF course you have no way of knowing that this is the truth, but yes...I would come, but is has to be next weekend because this weekend I am making a very long trip to do the very same.....lol...

but my approach is hopefull as always, but I am looking a wonderful adventure to meet a fabulously interesting man.
True love...maybe...I am always optimistic...but am concentrating on the individual....if it is true love...lol..who knows...

There are so many neat qualities in a person....I hate to overlook anyone....

And I have traveled pretty great distances to make a friend and meet people. Not just men...but wonderful new lady friends as well....
I have never been disapointed in the quality of the people that I have met,
and they have each enriched my life and still do.

Maayan, Connor is so sweet..Thank you for your kind words.I think I have said that so many times....
I am such a hopeless romantic dreamer...keep dreaming with me...gosh I would love it if you were in the states and came to visit me...we would have to get Cubby for sure..

Dom and Minerva too.....well that would be another thread....

yes...I would go around the world for a chance at a great friendship that could be the love of my life....
This time I will be out of the country.

True love....like the lotto...you can't win if you don't "play"

Bill,
see you next weekend....

Love lucky....

(p.s. if I find tru love this weekend I will have to cancel Bill, I know you will understand....fondly, playfully, lucky!)

It's an honest question and I am not afraid to give my honest answer. For true love, I would travel anywhere. The key words are "true love." But how far would I travel just to spend a weekend with a woman, regardless of how beautiful. Not very far. There are plenty of beautiful women in Tucson. That's not the same as true love though, is it?

Bill..you are a diehard romantic..good for you..not many of them around these days. The heart is a lonely hunter, happy hunting and enjoy the hunted and the hunt..

Hi Julia. I am dreaming there right along side you. Problem is dreams are usually great until you wake up. BTW. Congrats. Connor is a cutie. Would I rule somebody out because of where they live? No. I have used MM primarily to meet people where I am planning to visit anyway. It works great that way. I have met nice people and it has enriched my trips.I think men and women who travel a great deal for whatever reason should use the service in the same way. To make new friends and meet new people. I have a hard time thinking that I can meet the right person through e-mails and phone conversations and after traveling a great distance I am going to meet the person of my dreams and all will be bliss. Now if along the way if I meet someone personally that I think I can connect with, would I go back. Absolutely. I would go anywhere to see that person. I know; it has already happened to me. Let me turn this around on you Julia and I apologize for asking a loaded question. If I sent you a plane ticket to visit me in Tucson this weekend, would you come? I rather doubt it. Of course you could make my day and say yes. lol. If you were going to be in Tucson anyway and I asked you out to dinner would you go? I bet you would. What would you say if I suggested that I come to Washington just to see you? What would you say if I said I am going to be in Washington anyway and lets get a bite to eat? You are right it is not a debate. It is not black and white. A lot of gray here. You asked a good question. I speak only for myself, but it's how I see it.

Hi Bill,
Perhaps I should re-phrase.....

Would you reject outright a woman who in other ways seems to have the qualities that you seek, simply because of geography?

Or would you be willing to get to know the person inside.....

(yes everyone knows long distance is tough)

But....would you not want to try....?

Not for debate...there is no right or wrong answer....just thought provoking.
Everyone has to decide what is right for them.....

......just dream with me Bill......
