Hello
I am a 22 year old. I live in Stone Mountain Ga and I have never had sex with a male. I spent most of my teenage years as a lesbian. I know my names says that I am BI. But recently I have changed that. I want to meet a man and start a relationship. I don?t want the relationship to be based of superficial values so there will be no sex involved until marriage. I am not afraid of the experience I just really value my body and I want my husband to respect me. I am not saying that women who aren?t virgins aren?t respectable. But when my mother told me to save myself for my husband I listened. If your looking for an honest, fun, funny, attractive intelligent, goal oriented woman, contact me. When it comes to race I am attracted to Caucasian, Indian and Latin men. I don?t discriminate towards black men I am just more attracted to Caucasian, Indian and Latin men. When it comes to age I don?t discriminate.

If you would like to get to know more about me I have a website that explains more about me/ we can get to know more about each other through e-mail.

You got my attention, it's not important if virgin or not to get married and reserve yourself. some still virgin but cheated ther bf before get married, so really its not base on virginity but yah i agree to you it's good to reserve yourself to your future husband but somes lost ther viginity becoz they wanted to do sex just for fun and some also lost ther viginity coz they fall inlove and guy promise to marry her next month so girl agree to have sex knowing after lost it boyfriend was running away. lol

Oh well just be careful to some men or ur bf to be, you never know what gonna happen next but good for you hope u can reserve it, ur parents is right.

God bless!

Most people in this country, or say world say that they know what love is. What is love. Love cant be descibed in words. Love is a feeling. Its the things you do for your partner to make them happy. Its going that extra mile, wearing that stupid outfit, saying nice things. If you have never been with a man, I can see both ways that you are or are not a virgin. In the mind of some you are a virgin because you havent given your body to a man. you havent felt the feeling of sexual intercourse from that of a human body part(be it the male penis). But at the same time I can see ones point of you not being a virgin due to the fact that you were a lesbian. I would like to think that through your relatiopnships with that of a women, you had sexual intercourse. I guess all in all, I think that is really special that you are saving yourself for your man, your husband. But before you give in to that, make sure that the love you give is given back to you. Being a virgin is a special thing. Not to many people are anymore, and not to many people will say that they are, if in reality they are. A relationship has to work with two people. It cant just be one person saying and doing it all and trying to make something out of nothing. Its 50 50. Remember to always have hope. Hope is a good thing and a good thing never dies. And when you find that good man, and you think hes the one, take a step back and look. does he look at you when your walking away. when hes talking to someone does he look for you then. does he send you smiles, or call you just to say hello. and if hes not the right one, then you didnt give up yourself. Good luck to you.

Okay, maybe I'm just in a feisty mood tonight, but HELLLOOOOOOOOO...if you've been a lesbian, you're not a virgin. Okay, maybe technically your hymen is still in tact, but you've still experienced sex -unless you subscribe to the Bill Clinton theory of what does and does not constitute sex. You have given your body/temple to another.

If you're that intent on waiting for intercourse then you may be on the wrong singles site. You should be very careful of men you meet as a result of this post, especially if they are not in your immediate age range and clearly state in their profile their similar goal. Oh, for example, the 43 yo who's interested in you (below)...beware. There are sharks in the waters.

Lombard: On behalf of all the 'bidders', thank goodness you're not interested in a 23 yo "virgin". It would just ruin your entire aura.

ROBTEST AND BC GIRL,

I think the answer pertaining to what this guy preaches is in his profile. I went to look at it and he uses the term "Namaste" which stands for "the G_d in me honors the G_d in you" a new age concept which stems from a perversion of the gnostic christian gospels and specifically the gospel of Thomas which is quoted in the movie Stigmata :"The Kingdom of G_d is in you and all around you." which is basically to say that we were created by G_d in His own image and we must care for one another and ourselves because the divine spark of the Holy Spirit is within us all. Unfortunately, that became perverted by the power hungry and prideful that interpreted that to mean that they themselves are G-d, rather than created in his own image to be one with G-d. Because of this interpretation, the council at Nicene banned these gospels from inclusion in the Bible and ordered them destroyed as they saw the potential for the interpretation of these gospels to lead to a revival of the christian church's persecution. This is most unfortunate because along with the skewed interpretation, there is true knowledge revealed by our Lord Jesus that has been lost. Fortunately, instead of destroying the gospels someone burried them at Nag Hamadi where they were discovered. If interpreted without a desire to be G-d, these Gospels are quite beautiful and part of a rich early Christian tradition. But now, as then there are those that use them for their own self serving purposes. By the way, this interpretation of equality with G_d is the same position Satan is supposed to have taken and which caused him to be expelled from Paradise. This is also the so called knowledge he imparted to Adam and Eve in paradise: that they were not merely part of G-d but G-d's equals. The Gnostics which came to be associated with this interpretation actually took it further and stated that the serpent in Genesis was an emisary from the one true god/godess that is supposedly above G-d and that the serpent(Satan/Epinoia/Baphomet) is really the Holly Spirit. Thus what this guy is preaching is that he is G-d, not created in his image but G-d himself which is what Namaste stands for (respect for the gods we all are) and is often used by spell casters and other new age believers. This guy is not a preacher;he is following a perversion/distortion of the true Gospel of the early Christians. Since he believes he is G-d, he has no problem constructing his own universe and his own rules for that universe or condemning people like me-who have the audacity to disagree with him- to hell. Sad, but BC-your question about what he preaches cracked me up - Lol.

By the way, read my above post. It isn't that the Bible was rewritten. It is that it is a collection of writings that were screened by Emperor Constantine, Iraneous(A church leader) and others of their choosing to include only those things which were viewed as non-threatening for the preservation of the Christian church in 325 AC. We have come a long long way since then, so we are not likely to agree with some of the things that were included then by the editors of that time. Essentially the Bible is an edited version of a whole collection of writings from the early Christians and intended only as a reference/guide to practicing Christianity at the time.

Now certainly if it is your preference you can take something simple and convolute it up as it suits you, but I have to differ on the word origins of Namaste. Quite simply, it means the inner light in me bows to the inner light in you. The word itself comes from Hindi San Scrit and probably predates by eons the religious zealots that you mention... I mean just because someone else steals a word and redefines it doesn't mean it looses it's original meaning for all of us. For example, I don't think they have rewritten the history books to now mean that Everyone in the "gay 90's" was not happy but simply homosexual...

I guess it would certainly give new meaning to the song we learned as children called "When Johnny comes marching home again"...

But if that is your opinion on what the word means, you are welcome to it...

Alright already.......Is the girl a virgin or not....We seem to be going astray here....Personally, I dont give a rat's azz one way or the other that she is TOTALLY CONFUSED....but some of you guys make reading these forums worth getting up for........oh wait...I have to get up for work anyway...oh well..........Happy 2006 EVERYONE...

BLACKHOLE:
No one here cast the first stone at you. It was you whom cast the first stone and at me by calling me lame and disgusting because I differentiated between abstinence(being a virgin) and the technicality of having an intact body tissue/hymen. It was also you that turned this thread into a debate about homosexuality for all I commented upon was that sex is sex regardless of which sex one choses to practice it with.

However, having introduced the debate, you are now miffed and ready to cast into hell fire anyone that disagrees with you. You will also climb up any pole you can find to justify your beliefs. Muslims do not accept female homosexuality, hence if you are claiming to be in favor of it because you are a muslim, there is no truth in you. Muhammed the prophet/founder of Islam condemned both male and female homosexuality and referred to female homosexuality as "Zani"(a/d/u/l/t/e/r/y). If married the penalty he prescibed for it was death by burning;if unwed the penalty was lashing. Muslims are even more strict about sexuality than Christians-the only exception being polygamy.

As for your convoluted argument that those that stand in jesus'word would recognize you,Jesus did not preach women having sex with women and he did not preach judgment. You came in here preaching lesbianism and filled with judgments against me, anyone that disagrees with you and even those that practice homosexual behavior so long as they are not females.

Lots of men fantasize about lesbians and or about being in a threesome with two lesbians. The fantasy is as common as rain, but they do not try to make it a religion or preach it is G_d's will to validate their sexuality. They simply accept themselves and their sexuality for what they are. No one here or elsewhere, needs you to validate theirs or stand up for their free will. People have done that for themselves for much longer than anyone on this board has been alive and you are not some kind of modern day liberator. You are just an average guy with an incredibly enormous ego that will scare away even those that he proposes to protect/defend /stand up for. I can only hope that your attitude is the result of being only 25 and still feeling as though you need to justify your sexuality as younger people sometimes do. You do not. You are who you are and you like what you like. That is enough and requires no justification. It is only when you try to be something you are not or when you try to validate yourself through religion and particularly at someone else's expense (with a painfully obvious lack of knowledge of the doctrines which you claim to preach) that you come across as a hole and I don't mean a blackhole sun.

You can't memorize a few verses of scripture, quote them out of context and have others quake in fear of hell and damnation. To do so is reminiscent of the spell casters in the Bible that invoked the demons to come out of a possesed person invoking Jesus' name. The demons said we know Jesus but we don't know you and attacked the spell casters. Anyone can,for a fee, obtain credentials as an ordained minister. So called psychics do it all the time and boast of being ministers on their sites, but to be a true minister requires knowledge and a sincere desire to understand the doctrines and the history behind them. Anything else is ego, pride, and vanity, the very opposite of the fruits of the spirit.

You are definitely a virgin if you haven't been with a man...

Technically, the OP is nota virgin, BUT God can make us clean again, and THAT is what counts...

Vir?gin Pronunciation (v?rjn)
n.
1. A person who has not experienced sexual intercourse.

ROBTEST:
You are correct about the original meaning of the word Namaste but do you really think Blackhole here is ascribing to it the san scrit meaning? Do you think he practices Hinduism? I personally do not think he does and the only other usage I have heard for that word is within the circles of new age spiritualism.

I was explaining the origin of its usage by some (not all) new age spiritual circles and the possible history of that particular interpretation - not the origins of the word per se. Language evolves with usage. Take the word chill as an example. It was originally intended to convey cooling an object's temperature but it is now being used to convey relaxation or the need to calm down. One meaning does not detract from the other, though. I am with you on that.

For a better understanding of the history I discussed in my post and why the meaning of the word is being altered in some (again not all) spiritual circles, you may wish to read some of the works published by Elaine Pagels. She is an excellent historian and considered an authority in religious studies at Princeton University where she is also a professor.

BC -You are too funny. You really have a delightful way of ligtening things up. Thanks for the laugh.
