I think it is our own folly to expect men to be what we want them to be..
When they don't live up to our expectations we die a little, we become disillusioned, disappointed, cynical...
don't be judgmental
trust your own instinct
and be happy whether they are there for us or not
they are just the passing companion
if he should come along to hold your hand and guide you
take it with pleasure and love him just for that
he is just that memory
in our long journey through life
in the end we all sleep alone
in our coffin
never seen one built for two..
so get use to living on your own
and be happy living with that fact

I don't know Cat for even a very good man still does it, of what Ell stated, that "they come on strong make you fall in love with them and decide you are inappropiate for some asinine reason that doesnt matter in the long run. like age or money or self worth etc etc." When that happens, a good man can hurt you most.
the problem is the REALLY good men have morals and with me being so young will let something stupid like age get in the way. i prefer much older men. i have been married 2x to men my own age and older men are more grounded. even my mom and dad think i should be with someone their age. they would be thrilled. this brings back how this relates to my title. they seem to want to forbidden fruit but think its wrong to have it.
