Why do people after they have finished a bottle of beer set the bottle down in a parking lot? Do they hope someone will run over it and have a flat?

They could take it to the trash bin. But they don't do that. Do they have a mean streak in them along with the beer?

Petty..Of course!

Robotic...I think you're question just got answered.

Apparently when you see one of those beer bottles in a parking lot, Somewhere not far behind is a half-naked woman doing a striptease going down the highway.

Robotic...They don't want to get a DUI with an open container. Even if it's empty, most states consider it the same as half empty and there's an automatic fine. They could at least throw them in a trash can- but they're probably drunk anyway.

WW You sound like you are talking from direct personal experience. Back in the days when we drove and drank (I was always the passenger, can't drive sober much less drunk) we did the road trip things and I just gave the driver my aluminum can of beer when finished so he tossed it out. Never glass. Now littering is just wrong but when you are young you don't care about the rest of the world. Okay, some do, I didn't much..glad I grew up. :)

You know what gets me..seeing 1 sofa cushion on the side of the road. Poor people get their new couch home and it's missing a seat cushion.
It's pretty much useless now.
