I've started a new topic in the message board titled...children say the funniest things

I know I have loads of funny and embarrassing stories and I wasn't joking when I said I could fill a whole thread with them sooooo...I thought it would be interesting for us all to share our stories.

I totally understand you Sharp!! I had 4 children so unless I was an octopus I had no chance of holding onto them all at the same time!! I've had some scares over the years and could probably take up a whole thread with my stories lol. Thankfully they all survived and have grown into wonderful adults despite having me as their mother!

Children really make your life fun eh?

Hi sharp!

I had constant nightmares while carrying my first born, brought about by my bad memory and forever losing my personal items!!! I dreamt on many occasions that I had left my baby in a shop while on a shopping spree but couldn?t remember which shop so was frantically back-tracking! My worst dream was dreaming I had had the baby and all my friends had come around to see it, after a while I put the baby to bed and we all started discussing holidays and getting quite excited we all decided to drive down to the south coast that night. So we all jumped in the car and had been there for 2 nights before I remembered the slumbering child!! We drove frantically back but all the way home all I could think of is the poor child crying of hunger etc while I was having fun with friends!!! I never had nightmares or weird dreams with my other 3 children (thank goodness!)

I never ONCE left my son in a shop lol all that worrying for nothing!!!

That is soooo funny scorpio. lol
I never left either of my kids in a shop either, but once when leaving one, my daughter 8, my son 10, both were on either side of me when we left. I went to a bank machine across the hallway...checked my right where my daughter HAD BEEN! and was NO LONGER! Something in a store caught her eye, so she went the other direction without telling me! OMG talk about taking a few years off my life and adding a few whites I didn't need! lol Someone I knew found her wandering in the mall, lost and crying. They paged me over the intercom. I felt fear if someone had taken her, and anger if she was the cause! lol My friend sensing my anxiety talked with me for about 15 min. until he sensed I was calm again and wouldn't scold her. She was lucky! lol I was lucky! There is nothing comparable to feeling that dreadful fear of losing your child.

Sorry to interrupt on this thread, but I wanted to say something. I can't remember whether I dream in color or not. But hey ladies...did you ever get told in prenatal classes that pregnant women are prone to having some really weird dreams? Well I remember having two when I was pregnant with my son. Only one I remember though.
I was hiking up a mountain path along the edge with my husband at the time. We were about half way up. All of a sudden we heard this rumbling, it was a herd of cattle stampeding up the mountain. We jumped on a ledge so as not to be trampled. When they passed we jumped down and continued our hike. But with in minutes, the herd was stampeding down the mountain and we had to jump back up on the ledge again! I must have woke u, cause that's all I remember! WEIRD, huh? lol

Actually I would like daily performances. One need to practice such a delicate and beautiful musical art as often as you can.

BTW, Does the London Symphony have any openings for a bongo player?

Surprisingly not one!!!! Maybe you could start your own Symphony with recruits from MM!

From what I can see most are dodging joining your harem but this may interest some of the ladies!

Awwww sorry 5w's I havent ruined your day or life!! That was not a dream you WERE a world famous bu*t bongo player, that really happened!!

mmmmm maybe your memory is failing you!!

PS: Dont forget about the $100 dollars you owe me eh?

*******

The $1000 is in the mail. I threw in a tip.

I am glad I wasn't dreaming about the bongo performances. You don't have any movies or pictures of some of the events do you? I seem to have lost mine.

Were you one of my finer bongo instruments? What and how many notes were you tuned for? None of the flats, I hope, I try to only play sharps and bubbles.

Oh come on, ask me about some more of my dreams.......

No guts, huh?

Good thing you don't ask me about my wishes if you can't handle the dreams. I am much more creative when awake.

lol

When I was younger I had a dream about flying. I was so excited because I'd never flown before and I thought at last I will know what it feels like even if it is only in a dream...well the engines started up and I was waiting with bated breath to get the 'feel' of take off...but the plane left the runway and started wheeling it down the motorway!!! I looked around at all the other passengers and they all seemed to think it was normal for the plane to travel down the M1. After telling someone about my dream they told me that you can only experience things in your dreams that you have experienced in real life.

Obviously not by some of the dreams some of you have been having
