And it is fitting that in my final moments, I refer solely to a person who occasionally haunts these hallowed halls of hedonistic happiness.
A certain person of impeccable demeanor who is decidedly precious to me.
Throughout the constant bickering and name calling in these threads, regardless of what has been said or inferred about either her or myself, she has taken the high road through it all.
Not once did she waver from her position of poise and purpose.
Despite our personal friendship, not once did she speak an ugly or harsh word, or suggest as much, about anyone who posted a "negative" response to either she or I. Not once.
The fact is, she ALWAYS strived to infuse any inflammatory situation with a calm and reasoning attitude.
I have every reason to believe (although I'm not certain) that she is regularly talking to several people here via emails and IM's, and she never volunteered a shred of information or compromised any confidences others may have shared with her.
Again, not once!
On the rare occasion, she vocalized her frustration with certain individuals, she expressed it simply as a "grrrrrrrrrrr", although I suspect I was the one causing her the greatest consternation of all.

Moon, I love Canada and Canadians for their unstinting hospitality and warmth in a cold country, you have done them proud. It was nice meeting you. :)
Bonnie, you are a great lady and extremely interesting one also... never a dull moment with you around, that's for sure!! Although I don't post very often, I do read a lot of what you write as I learn tremendously from what you've experienced in your very full life!!
First, Orion, I don't know when you are going to read this since you must have left already for FL while I'm still on a business trip in Toronto for the week and just got to read this. I thank you very much, my dear friend, I do cherish our friendship, you are a very caring and sensitive man.
Real and Butter, I like you ladies a whole lot in a very NLW of course! Real, email me your new phone number, ok? We'll catch up!!
Speed, thank you very much for your post, that was sweet of you and I did enjoy chatting with you too; I like your honesty and forwardness.
Ed, you can be so nice and funny when you want to... sometimes I would swear you and Orion were twin brothers separated at birth with the way you were going at each other on the threads... grrrrrrrrrrr!! ;)
Thank you very much everyone for your posts, you make me feel warm and fuzzy all over!! ;)

I spend a morning last week IMing back and forth with the Moonster, and found her to be an extremely bright and sensitive woman who saw thru a great deal of the poser community and was very cordial to chat with. Very nice person. Misses nothing. Quality.
She is perhaps the kindest, gentlest, most caring, and sensitive person I have ever known.
She is as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. Her eyes dance when she smiles, and when she smiles, my heart dances.
It was a boundless pleasure to have known her, and it is an honor and a privilege to have had her call me a friend.
She is truly a sterling model of humanity, we should all wish to be more like her.
If you are fortunate enough to experience the same, or someone like her...
Remember, relish the moment...
cherish the memories,
and treasure the privilege...
for she is a rare and lovely creature indeed.

"Moon River, wider than a mile,
I'm crossing you in style some day.
Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker,
wherever you're going I'm going your way.
Two drifters off to see the world.
There's such a lot of world to see.
We're after the same rainbow's end--
waiting 'round the bend,
my huckleberry friend,
Moon River and me."
