When people say things to or about you & your not sure weather its right or wrong do you line it up with the true & living BIBLE & do you line every thing up to the true & living BIBLE that you say to people? I know what the answer is.
I am asking just who is living the best they can by what the BIBLE say how we should live Not asking in a NEGATIVE way so do not answer in a bad way OR take this as a joke.
WHO ARE THE REAL CHRISTIANS & WHO READS THE BIBLE ON A DAILY BASES AS WELL AS PRAYS & LISTENS TO CHRISTIAN MUSIC & NOT AFRAID TO SHARE JESUS AT THE RIGHT TIME & IN THE RIGHT MANNER. EXAM OR LOOK WITH IN YOUR OWN HEART. THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE REAL KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT
Let's see. At first I thought, OK, The Bible, read it and obey it. But then I found out there is no THE or IT, which refer to 1, and that instead there were a whole varied bunch that differed in content, by translation, and depending on who you trust is right about which one is the right one. No solution there. What about going back to the original? Oh, I found out there is no original, that it is a collection of books that evolved to include more as time passed and various people were "told" to include this book or that book and that we have to trust who was told and who wasn't told since I wasn't there personally. And even those who decided, between themselves, did not actually witness one another other being told this or that.
And finally, I found out that a whole bunch of varieties are written in languages I either don't speak or in a version of language that is difficult enough to understand such that I might interpret in incorrectly or the person who intereprets it for me might do so incorrectly, a rather important point since one is to LIVE by it.
So then I asked God myself, and I was told don't worry about it. Yet other people say they were told yep, worry about it. And what if it wasn't really God that was doing the talking, just some spirit presenting themself as God, and ditto for all the other people that were told.
So what to do? Logic tells me, obey the bible, if and when we ever have one. One. Not a bunch. So there is nothing to obey. Since there is no "THE" bible, there is THOSE bibles, and since they are not only with conflict amongst them at least in a point of view or two, to declare any book at all produced or reproduced by man, is go against God's word. Which word? The one I said I was told personally not to worry about it. But then again, maybe that wasn't God either.
So lacking any decisive data that is beyond reasaonable doubt, it is not wise to obey anything as "the truth" when the truth is, you have no way of knowing if it's the truth or not, and therefore, I better not and can say that anybody who does, is misguided in thinking they have the one that is truth, since they cannot know unless God told them personally, and even then they have no way of knowing if that was really God telling them.
So where does that leave us? I know this, it sure doesn't make sense to follow "the" bible. Best I can see it is a potentially useful source of information and equally a potential source of disinformation.
There is not Truth, not in writing anyway, that anybody can be sure of.
Lacking trustworthy guidance, I'll trust in me. And lusting the woman feels natural, feels good, feels right. I'm going with lust.
