225.5k MPH in my book is 225.5 thousand miles per hour. That would move you around the earth in about 7 minutes. That is about 13 times faster than a space shuttle. 25,000 MPH is the escape velocity from the earth.
Where did you go 225.5k MPH?
You could almost go to the Moon in one hour at 225.5k MPH
Or did you mean 225.5 kilometers per hour? A kilometer is about .62 of a mile. 225.5 kilometers per hour is about 140 MPH.
That is fast but racers like Indy racers go 230 or so MPH.
Got caught speeding last summer, doing 154km in a 110km zone... (oops) on a French motorway. A young, cute cop on a motorcycle waved me over to stop on the side of the road... and I had to pay EUR 95 on the spot... ouch. Actually I thought I'd have to dish over about EUR 200 so I guess I was lucky.
That IS the subject of this thread, right...?? Or have I missed the point completely...??
