As lovely as you are, there should be a line a mile long wanting to accompany you to the exotic destination of your choice!

My friend used Lonely Planet online to research her trip to Argentina & Chile too. I have it so one day maybe I can book the same trip.

Never think your travel days are over! It's just more difficult to find people to travel with that's all!

I'd love to do so much more, but like you...lack the partners, or if I take my kids I'm confined to school breaks.

Six, what an exciting trip. Did you plan it yourself via internet? Or did you have a travel agent put it together. I don't usually find travel agencies too helpful for such trips. But one never knows.

I have an itinerary of a trip that friend did a few years ago to Chile & Argentina...incredible. She did all the research via internet and booked it all herself. It's one I want to experience one of these years.

While my friends did this trip, I was in Turkey. Such an incredible country and so much history & ruins...just as many as in Greece. We hired private drivers, private guides. Travelled from Istanbul (Dalobochi Palace, Topkopi Palace, Cistern, Blue Mosque, Cathedrals, & Bosphorus River cruise) to Izmur, to Selchuk, Euphesis, Marmaris, Bodrum, Dalyan. Awesome. If you ever want to go sailing on the Mediterranean Sea I can set you up on a magnificent Goulet! :-) If only I could retain 1/10 of the history I learned when I left. You'd love it! If you ever want to book such a trip, I'd highly recommend Vicki (Australian) & her husband Cem (Turkish, pronounced gem) at Kontact Turkey.

Dayum Six, just read about your "adventure" trip to Venezuela!
Talk about green with envy, or is that jungle scurvy??
Any exciting moments?
Anacondas slithering thru camp?
Or giant Banana spiders moseying about in your shoes??
Tell Girl!

Let me be the first to respond with a travel related post.

I subscribe to two magazines. The first is Budget travel. It helps me determine vacations when finances or not so fluid.

The second magazine is Conde Nast Travel. This shows the vacations I desire a little bit more.
